He lacks discipline - he can't hold his position at all and all wide players have to cover ground as well.
He has no real pace or any awareness. He has never been first choice in any position with 4 managers here other than Pressley and that cost him big time.
I'm sure of make managers thought he'd be a forward player they'd have tried it.
He lacks stamina as well - struggles to track back.
I am really puzzled as to why we're 8pts adrift what with all these Championship / Premier league quality players we apparently have...:bored:
Thank goodness they're all played in wrong positions then, so we can keep hold of these gems...Square pegs in round holes. The squad often lacks balance and as soon as anyone really hits form they are sold.
McBean proved that...What's all this sell, sell, sell bollox. I don't care if we get 5 million each for Haynes, Willis and Stevenson not a bean will find its way to first team strengthening.

Are you saying that we don't sell all of our best players? You so go to some games then?
Most clubs don't look at the team status, tactics or shape around a player they are after, they look at the individual they are buying. Stevenson, Haynes, Harries and Willis all have attributes that other teams can use, all are young and can improve with the correct coaching. I don't think any mentioned are certain to perform at the level above but all maybe gone tomorrow, so discussing the abilities of certain ones has no real point. If the right money comes in they will be gone and as always we will be left scrambling around to fill the gaps.

I'm not sure that Premiership or Championship players are what you need for success in Div 3 or 4I am really puzzled as to why we're 8pts adrift what with all these Championship / Premier league quality players we apparently have...:bored:

You are not any captain and it was you that I quoted.Don't see why you have to speak for the captain but what has that statement even got to do with his statement.
Grendel: say something positive about a City player. Go on. See what it feels like.
You are not any captain and it was you that I quoted.
Which ones? Must be players from past years.I say positive things about several CCFC players so again a nonsensical remark.
So you never ask stupid questions of me when I quote someone else?My question was to captain dart and for some reason you seem to want to answer questions on his behalf. In sure he is capable of speaking for himself.
Is that Grendel? What on earth would we get for him? No more than £4.99 surely.
Are you saying that we don't sell all of our best players?
I'm sure he was quite positive about Jacob Murphy to be fair to him.Which ones? Must be players from past years.
1 down none to go.I'm sure he was quite positive about Jacob Murphy to be fair to him.
hes a shite defender.
Reads like a quote from Kafka, the trial.Players are bought and sold i don't think that is the problem with us we all except its part of the bigger picture. What is worrying though is when the club is selling to cover a short fall in income or for funding the business, sooner or later the luck runs out or the assets get lower in value. We as a club do not sell to build, we sell to survive and at the minute we are running towards a very dangerous place in our history. Tim will have to come out again and comment on all that is happening and reassure fans the club is still worth investing in as a going concern. For me Tim is a suit and can be described as a character is a book as follows.
The President is very much a figurehead - he wields no real power whatsoever. He is apparently chosen by the government, but the qualities he is required to display are not those of leadership but those of finely judged outrage. For this reason the President is always a controversial choice, always an infuriating but fascinating character. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it."
Yep? That's like selling your gold wedding ring for £20 and then trying to sell a Coke can ring top for £50.so we sold vincelot for 35k but reject Haynes for 100k. doesn't make sense
It makes sense if you don't have any other fit leftbacks...so we sold vincelot for 35k but reject Haynes for 100k. doesn't make sense
