I echo this. I also think Phillips has done well the last couple of games. The opposition has been poor though and today should have been three points.

Glad to hear he filled in well today when needed - shown he can be considered adequate "cover" for Stokes which for
league one squad is all we can really ask for. In his early career he did show signs of potential. Having said all that
Stokes is clearly no1 for left back.......however dependant on Martin's injury and if we can get another centre back in he may
be needed with Stokes needing to fill in at centre back!

Thought he was decent and was close to scoring a beauty. The thing with Haynes for me is that he lacks confidence which has been the case since day one when he was sick on the pitch.

Why do u highly doubt it?

Because he wasn't there and again is commenting about something he knows fuck all about just because he doesn't like the player. He did have a solid game today,he did everything that was asked of him,and if people got off his back he may get a bit of confidence and get better.

Haynes has fantastic potential. Anyone with half a footballing brain can see that. Glad he had a good game hope he gets more opportunities.

I just don't like people slating our kids. When they do a good job and they haven't even watched them play. Disgusting

Completely agree. A few bad performances and suddenly these players aren't good enough. These are homegrown players who have worked very hard to make it we should be supporting them. Half the time the people moaning haven't even seen them play. Haynes has potential and needs a loan move. Phillips for me has his moments in games but I think for his size he battles well and has been fairly solid last couple games. He's improving each game and we should get behind them. Same goes with our goalkeepers. As supporters we should be proud of the homegrown players we have representing the club!

Did a decent job today after a while out of the team.

Although I thought I read yesterday he was off to Oxford on loan?

That would be a first and I highly doubt it

It's obviously not, is it? When a player you don't like has a decent game, try and swallow some pride and admit that it a.) happened and b.) might have happened before.

Really pleased for Haynes, he had a great game yesterday, solid throughout.

Always thought he had great potential and couldn't understand why he seemed to fall out of favour. Hopefully he gets a run in the side now as his confidence can only increase after performances like that.

I'd personally like to see him in a more attacking role.

Can't agree that he was decent-I thought he was average. But you are right-lacks confidence to go passed people when given the opportunity and always turns back and plays the easy ball. Never one to take responsibility unfortunately.

He's been playing left of the front 4 for the U21s.
