I know Ryan Kent frustrated the life out of us City fans at times, but would you have him back on loan for the run in?

Personally, I wouldn't. He couldn't pass, couldn't cross, and couldn't shoot. He might have been able to get fans excited by running around a bit and beating a few defenders but it came to nothing 90% of the time, and by the end of it I started to stop getting out of my seat when he had the ball because it was so predictable what was going to happen.

The argument that he pulled defenders out of position is scraping at the barrel at most, and didn't work anyway because it was never exploited. Mainly because he couldn't pass the ball 5 yards, or decided to make the wrong decision.

He isn't the answer, but I would say we definitely need a new winger in.

I would definitely take him back,gave the team much needed pace.

Whether he could pass or not isn't important. He stretched defence's and that stopped others being marked out of the game. I'd take him back in a heartbeat myself.

No, but he ain't the only fish in the sea, we need pace, we need width and we need another forward option but believe me despite bagging over £2million last month take it from me smooth talking Anderson won't allow Mowbray to sign anyone else

Missed him or someone like him big time and a major factor of why we are outside of the play offs and not in them, changed the dynamics of the front line and stopped us having a sub with pace to come on if they was on the bench.

Cannot understand why we never looked for someone similar when he went back.

How much gametime has he had up there? I'd take him back - although that gives us a headache again with the number of loan players.

His final product wasn't great but he was useful in that he scared defenders and pulled them out of position.

Yes, he had good chemistry with Armstrong and Murphy. Sometimes you add an ingredient to the mix and although the ingredient does nothing, it improves the mix.

Yes I would take him back. As for the 'scraping the barrel' argument that we didn't exploit his play and pace: he started 10 games and we won four and drew 4. Oh for a return to that form. In those games he came on as sub (7) we won three and drew 2. He was involved in 17 games including a second half sub v peterboro and the demolition of gillingham. Of course he didn't do that alone but it's the sort of style and results we need over the next few weeks.

Yep would end Bigi's loan if possible to make room. Still think there's a cracking player in Bigi somewhere but we need to change dynamics of squad.

At that time we were playing well enough with our passing style of play. Kent wasn't involved in creating or scoring anything. Just how many assists or goals has he got? One a piece I believe, which is an alarmingly low return for someone playing in that position.

When he was on the pitch we would have done better to play without him. Like Murphy, when the team is playing as well as they can do, we can afford to play with effectively ten men when they aren't performing, because the squad is that good. That's what makes our current form so baffling. We're like Jekyll and Hyde this season.

Our drop in form is nothing to do with Kent going back, and the turn in heads because we aren't playing well is short sighted in my opinion.

If you're going to have a fast player they need to have other attributes as well. Someone like Kent with the ability to do something with the ball at the end would be ideal to help bolster our end of season, but he himself really isn't the answer.

Then again, it can't be coincidence that when he left and other, erm, more experienced pro's came into replace him that our season went off the rails, can it?

Kent is one of the fastest players with the ball at his feet I have ever seen, when he develops a final ball he could be some player, if Liverpool were getting rid I'd be happy with him.

I'm puzzled why we do not seem to be in the frame for Kent to return.
Why would Sheff Utd be a better option is beyond me.
He may not have created that much but he took 2 players away from the opposition most of the time and that gave Murphy and Armstrong more chances and space on the ball.
I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Ive been to every game this season home and away - its not just about what Ryan Kent gives us as an individual its about what he brings as part of the 3 pronged attack with Murphy and Armstrong - he frightens the opposition to death to such an extent that they take their eyes off our other attacking players.

Get him back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He frustrated at times, but just carrying the ball that far up the pitch helps relieve pressure on our defence, it puts teams on the back foot and can lead to them not attacking with such numbers.

He was clearly a popular lad in the dressing room, and would be a great addition in my eyes.
