I wasn't at the game today . Only listened . So there's no point me discussing how good/bad we were . I felt inclined to sign up simply to just say this .
All saints fans know excately what you're going through. When we got relegated to L1 and had 10 points deduction I just couldn't believe how a so called prem team ( like yourself) could fail so hard . . It killed me . My beloved saints playing Exeter on a Tuesday night .
But we survived . We got a owner that cared . A manager that cared . And now we are . Were we are .
Some times going down . Clearing all the dead wood and starting a fresh Is the only way .
What ever happens to you I wish you the best . And mainly KEEP THE FAITH .

thanks mate - i can remember the heady days when we were both in the prem! - Very nice comments and you more than deserved the win today. we were simply outclassed for 75% of the game.

I hope you keep it going all season and go up - good luck to you and the Saints.:claping hands:

The problem we have Dibbs is that we have owners who will not put us into amin. for their own selfish reasons. They don't give a shit about the club only about their pocket. I for one would welcome admin. and a fresh start and suspect that a lot of Cov. fans feel the same. All the same thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, it seems rather than "keeping the faith" a lot of fans want to throw in rhe towel and boycot the Ricoh.

Torchomatic - tbf a lot a st Mary's wanted the same . Everybody has to be pulling in the same direction . As Adkins keeps saying ' getting on the bus ' . But u have to get behind you're club. .
Tonylinc - you can get them out . Like we did with saints . But everybody has to get involved . Marches . Voting with you're feet etc .
The sad thing for you is that sisu tried to buy us before you . Thank good that failed . :(

I appreciate the feeling thanks you are a true football fan. But our owners are way worse than what you had. For one who would wat to buy a club with no ground so we will not get a knight in shining armour like you. But well done to the saints i hope you win the league

I think the big difference between us and Saints is our demise has been slow we were relegated in 2001 you in 2005, we have never made the play offs or come close to getting there, I'm sure you made the play offs in 06 or 07, you've been relegated but been promoted as well we have had bottom 8 finishes for the last 5 seasons a gradual decline takes its toll and the apathy around the club, the city towards the club is just huge - death by a 1,000 cuts.

I remember playing Saints about three years ago when we put 4 past you in front of the Sky cameras. It's funny how things can change - good luck to you though. You moved the ball about impressively today and Danny Fox deserves to be playing in a decent side.

I havent given up hope but I have to say I think the writing is on the wall. I just want to support a club I can believe in once again. There's already enough anti-SISU sentiment on here (deservedly), but how can providing funds for ONE soliatary loan signing merit an article on the offical website?? It's absolutely pathetic, especially when most other clubs already have two, three, or even four loan players in their side.

Relegation or survival, I just pray that we have different owners in 12/18 months that can take this club forward again with the fans firmly behind them. Yes, we will probably be playing in league one next season for the first time in nearly 40 years, but look at where Norwich and Southampton are and you realise that life in football moves on very quickly.

"I cannot get my head around how good Leon Best has turned out to be!"- Newcastle fan on 606. A comment both Saints and Sky Blues can agree on?

"Leon Best has been absolutely outstanding in working hard and making goals for Demba Ba"-Jason Roberts on 606. Alongside Dann, Turner, Westwood, Fox, Henderson, Cork and Aron now, my how our old players have improved and grown! Can you imagine if the board had backed the club and kept them and added to them? How different things could have been!

why is it so many of our ex players improve only once they have left us though ? How many of these ex players are wriiten off as rubbish whilst in Sky Blue by so many ?

Could it be our coaching and utilisation of senior players isnt what it should be. Clearly we do pretty well at academy level

Like I say, we don't keep them and add to them. The idea was to get young players who aren't quite Premiership level yet, but with massive potential who could grow together until they compete as a top-flight side. SISU sold them too soon, before their peak was even near.

They did a lot of their learning at CCFC, and they are all players I will always follow and support. I'm proud that we had a major part in them becoming the players they are, if envious that we sold them before they could flourish in Sky Blue.
