Jan you are aware that the CCLSC meeting starts just 15 minutes before yours?

When all's said and done, and the club is safe. Will SOC be turning into a supporters club ala CCLSC? I see they get discounted hospitality and complimentary behind the scenes tours. Now because we live locally we don't have anything like this to my knowledge.

LL - we have someone at the meeting and they will be calling us towards the end of the meeting with any news from the CCLSC meeting so we can relay it to the meeting. We are at present in the process of taking over the SBT via Supporters Direct and resurrecting it as a proper fans organisation that will offer a voice for fans and in the fullness of time some proper tangible benefits. The intention is that, whoever the owners of CCFC are, we are in a position to support the team and be a real supporters organisation. Currently we are trying that difficult balancing act of keeping pressure on SISU and making them fully aware that they have made a mess of things and must sell up but still be supporting CCFC and the team.

"voice for fans and in the fullness of time some proper tangible benefits" This is the problem with gaining support for your organisation. You would get much more credibility if you got nothing for it and turned down all offers of hospitality and made it clear that you have a goal to represent ordinary fans. Just keep it pure. Voice for the fans.

No perks, no favours, no improper friendships - just man from stands representing popular opinion.

Trust me, if you start getting any of the above - people will lose faith. Make a stand, turn them all down politely.

There you go... this form a man who thinks your organisation is tosh! (I have a kind side too - but I still think you'll get tempted by the offerings and start agreeing to 'confidential conversations')

Senor Mexico - I didn't mean "perks" for ourselves but for fans in general - but this is for the future - we have bigger fish to fry at present!

Is there any chance of negotiating a more central location? As I don't own a car and live no where near the venue, I find it difficult to get to.
