The £110m would make that worth itI kinda get their point. Knowing you're going up one year and then down the next in a constant cycle doesn't give you much to cheer about.
How do you get excited about promotion knowing you're going to get hammered every week and come straight back down?
I've thought the same when people talk about us returning to the Premier League like its the promised land. How much fun would it be trying to desperately avoid relegation. Not that we need to worry about promotion this season!
Peterborough, Rotherham, Wycombe and soon to be usI kinda get their point. Knowing you're going up one year and then down the next in a constant cycle doesn't give you much to cheer about.

does it matter? Surely the more the merrierAlthough I can’t help but think how many of them had a ST in League 2 and we’re at Lincoln/Mansfield/Grimsby away that season? I know I was
Yep. Don't think they took into account the effect on morale in the squad. Can't buy that. They saw a valued team member being punted out to Blackburn on the cheap. Can imagine it turned a few heads
I sort of agree, but the fact is the money from promotion would help lift our problems and possibly even help towards a takeover (though no doubt Joy would just whack the price up extortionately again and put people off).I kinda get their point. Knowing you're going up one year and then down the next in a constant cycle doesn't give you much to cheer about.

Add Norwich to the list of teams who are blown away by our away support. Brilliant today.

I accept we've not had the income come in this summer, followed by the short term loss of income from postponed games we were expecting, plus then a short term extra cost in fixing the pitch which have left our finances in a precarious position, but anyone with even a slight inkling of the potential long term consequences of their actions would have decided to bridge that gap themselves with a short term loan rather than make their product worse and ruining the morale of their workforce.
It's like noticing you've cut your finger but instead of putting a plaster on it deciding to chop it off.
What row were you

BSB is definitely a double denim guy.
Tbf I think most of us as still see loads of the same faces.Add Norwich to the list of teams who are blown away by our away support. Brilliant today.

Norwich supporting mate of mine was near us yesterday and said he was well impressed with Covs enthusiastic supporters. However, he didnt use the same words for our level of performance on the pitch ☹Add Norwich to the list of teams who are blown away by our away support. Brilliant today.

Not really sure that is the best argument at the minute to be fair. There were plenty of people who were away only in L2 so at least those who were there yesterday weren't only funding our opponents.

Oh right-fair enough. Its not really an argument, just a response to a post criticising people who attended yesterday
I don’t think it was as bad as you’re saying. They outclassed us yet which makes sense as they are a class above.
Very frustrating for me because the goals were completely avoidable and we should’ve put our chances away
Yeah, it gets said a lot and it means nothing to the points on the table but what an effort again.
We've been through so much shite as a club, we've got a generation of fans who have had nothing to cheer about. Anyone under 30 has spent their lives following a club playing at different grounds, drifting around the lower leagues. It's incredible we still manage to maintain the support.
Whatever happens this year, keep it up. Can't control the performances but can always be loud and proud.
Older generation saw us take on the best sides in the country every season, we've seen us against Forest Green, Grimsby and Accrington. A couple of low division wembley appearances doesn't take away that differenceWhat?! My son is 16 and has seen two Wembley wins and two promotions in amongst the admittedly shit stuff.
I was 21 when I went to Wembley for the Cup Final. Before and after was rubbish. The odd highlight in the top flight years being those rare occasions when we beat Liverpool or Arsenal.
Younger fans nowadays have it much better than we did in my opinion.

It’s a really bizarre argument.Travelling to top flight grounds every other week - seeing wins at arsenal, Man U I don’t think I’d have swapped for the excitement of Forest Green Rovers. Since 2000 it’s been like watching lower level of football and League 1 and 2 were far poorer to me

I’m not sure too many sides in the PL would want to swap places with those in Leagues 1 and 2.Top flight grounds, yes. Beat a big team every now and then maybe, struggling at the bottom of the table constantly. Not as great for me as for you.
