In the event that Sisu do actually secure an alternative site and planning in Coventry (like they are having us believe that they are trying to achieve).

Does this change your position on buying a season ticket to see Cov at sixfields?

Knowing that your team is heading back to your city, do you buy a season ticket and invest in the club for the future?

Absolutely not, its the Ricoh or nothing and thats the Ricoh without SISU. The Ricoh arena is our home now and although it took time to get used to and god did it take time, its home. Leaving all of the ins and outs to one side, CCFC have to come back to the Ricoh and then SISU have to sell. I have no trust or faith whatsoever in SISU and therefore I do not trust what they would do with my money.

if a last minute deal is done to switch back to the Ricoh will the ST prices be the same?
maybe not, but maybe those having paid the Sixfields price might not be asked for more?

Today might be a very good day to invest!

I have to be honest - I am thinking the same. I live 5 mins from sixfields, but want to see us play at the Ricoh. So an ideal situation would be buy my season ticket for £207, and we play at the Ricoh and I have a little more money towards my 70 mile round trip

Once the bricks start being laid I might start believing it.

Arena 2000 never happened though, despite all the pretty pictures and gaswork towers being demolished, so it needs a physical stadium to start being constructed before I believe it.

The rest is window dressing.

I have no intention of going to Northampton. Seeing bricks being laid at a new site would make one hell of a difference though.

We all know though that it would be at least 2 years before a brick was even laid anyway. Consent and planning permission plus resident consultation and objection etc. Going to take quite some time.

Meanwhile we would still be stuck in Northampton to ever dwindling crowds. That is if crowds could dwindle much further,

I could see us in 2 years playing League 2 football in front of less than a thousand people every home game unless we're careful.

Personally, I won't be following the club under the current owners regardless of where we play (and that includes the Ricoh). For the simple reason that it doesn't feel like my club anymore.

When they finally move on, if the club still exists and is given back to the community it alienated and moved away from, I will return in a heartbeat.

I think the building of a too-small, L1-L2 stadium would be the day that the club is dead to me. We'll never be a top flight club again playing in a lower-league sized ground.

I would definitely consider it yes, but only when I see plans and evidence that a new stadium would get built.
