Good question, how is Pressley supposed to build a team when the club can't possibly have a clue about budgets for next season?

Well Pressley went out of his way to tell everyone that he was told that the club was running as normal, and he was assured by the owners that he would be fine.

Clearly he was either telling porkies, or he is unbelievably gullable. Either way, hardly characteristics you want from a manager!

Still the SBT 100% believe in him, so because they are the voice of the fans (in their own mind) he must be honest

You'd think with the statements from pressley and baker about next season everything was bright and rosy. They either know something we dont or its just to put some positive news to the fans to boost ticket sales. There's no point in telling us that the players and manager have a good feeling about next season and then issue a statement saying we are looking to play outside coventry. You may be able to put out a decent team next season ( i can't see how) but if its not at the RICOH, there will be nobody there to see it.
