I can see how some people might be misguided into hating the police, but the fire crews and ambulance crews do nothing other than help people, absolutely shocking behaviour, wish the punishment was harsher.

I would say it's unbelievable. But unfortunately with the society we now live in, it's not unexpected.
I'd just let Wood End burn. Be no great loss would it.....

Sadly there is no punishment for this behaviour, they get away with it and therefore think its acceptable. Sad times

Where are the parents? I'd have been more scared of a knock on the door from a copper telling mine that I'd been a little prick than most things.

Nowadays the parents would defend the kids to the death and get newspaper articles about their poor babies and how they are hard done by.

Been happening forever. I was talking to a copper who said there’s an estate in Brum where if they get out their car they have shit like washing machines thrown at them from blocks of flats.

I remember when I taught in Woodend having the fire department tel is about these sorts of incidents all the time.

Scumbags. Round em up and set fire to their testicles I say.

Fingers crossed the next time they need to put a house fire out, the house belongs to these same yoofs. Faulty equipment = no water = house burning down while they stand and watch and cry!! What goes around comes around.
You watch some poor innocent family be the ones to suffer though, rather than the scumbags.

The Wood End riots were 26 years ago. It is nothing new but if you've got a low IQ or limited aspiration, your children probably will too.
Fwiw, I drove through Wood End the other week for the first time in years, much better than it was!

Actually IQ isn’t strongly linked with genetics. Nor is it linked with decent parenting sadly.

It all comes down to parenting. And as you say aspirations.

I remember once being taken by ambulance from Coventry to Birmingham when I had to have something done whilst inside last year. The driver on the way told me all sorts of tales. People spitting at them and throwing things at them (thoughtout the west Midlands this was). Also when they put the lights and sirens on they get cars going deliberately slow or who won't move out of the way. What goes through the minds of these people? They once had to go to someone's house and they parked in front of someone's drive. When they got out this bloke who's drive it was had parked right behind the ambulance and he wouldn't move it out of the way. He only did so once the police were called. Twats.

Hope the ambulance gets 'held up' when someone gives them a good kicking.

heard all the stories of ambulance crew been attacked before but cars deliberately trying to obstruct them is a new one on me. Absolutely shocking behaviour. There truly are some absolute wankers out there.

Why don't we just have the three strikes policy for these cunts? Commit this type of offence 3 times, 25+ years in the slammer = everyone wins.

Guess it comes down to proof. The hoax call will come from a phone not registered to anyone. Then the ambulance or fire crews will be pelted by people hidden in the shadows no doubt with their faces covered.

That said make the penalties if they are caught much more severe. Hoax call is a maximum of 6 months or a £5K fine. Can't find sentencing guidelines for attacking the emergency services, might not be more than attacking anyone else. Few news articles on sentencing and they're all suspended sentences.

There was some ruckus on Mercer Ave ,Barras Heath tonight .
Not emergency services and didn't get a thorough look as was turning left out of a junction.
Looked like a group of about 8 14-15 yr olds attacking a black Merc, glass on the floor, halted in the centre of the carriageway, may have been another car involved as well or might have been trying to sidestep it.
Would have been scary for anyone in the car.

Isn't 3 strikes too many?

Welcome to the unwashed Jeremy Corbyn supporters that now have direct debit payments for their benefits. if he gets in they get more for doing fuck all apart from breeding more twats to claim more benifits

I had a football match in Wood End for one of the last games of our season.

We won 1-0 and they thought they should have scored but it was ruled out for offside.

Of course, I came out of the changing rooms to leave the ground and my wiper blades had been fucked up. Hardly a big deal, but I cannot say I was even surprised.

There are so many scumbags around.
