Can't defend and can't score
With respect, professional footballers are often asked to play out of position, and given responsibilities to fulfill. In such circumstances, application, effort and basic football intelligence are highlighted.
We could argue all day whether Murphy should be 'on a post' for corners. My question is this: What application, effort or footballing intelligence did he display after the corner?

This is a shambles. Can't say this is a bump in form now: DDLDWDWDLLL. Teams have worked us out and we don't seem to have a plan B. Couple that with the defence forgetting how to play football and we've got big problems.
He's shown nothing of any sort today. No intelligence, no desire to get the ball, nothing when he loses it. Expects someone else to clear up. He's a waste of space right now. As someone else said, may aswell be playing with 10 men.
