Loan Player: Luke Thomas, he has the potential to be a fantastic little player, but must work on his weaker foot and his shooting as it is the attributes lacking from a really decent player.
Game: Losing at Walsall at the Bestcott.
Goal Conceded: So many are similar it’s hard to pick just one.
Moment: Losing against Pompey away.

The amount of set plays that we concede in is criminal we need a keeper to come and take half of them

Don’t really understand what that’s got to do with conceding them. Even if we conceded less, it would be nice for the keeper to come and collect them, wouldn’t it?

Good season overall. finishing eighth is a great step up first season back.

That was immense, especially Shooting to Win being sang on repeat at a higher tempo and then the infamous 20 goals 20 goals, worth getting soaked for that was!

Ffs I miss the football and it’s only been less than 5 months away.

worst thing about this season - some fans wanting MR to go, court room saga continues, home ground ?
Best thing about this season - very young squad, still in the hunt with 2 games to go, never looking down, played some great stuff at times, MR still here

Young Player: Mason, really think the lad is underrated on here.

Moment: Chaplins goal at Stadium of Light having felt like the constant pegging us back would eventually lead to a Sunderland winner

Worst

Player: I want to say Ogogo and I am probably mistaken (my memory isnt the best) but it did feel like he never got a consistent run of games. Of players to get a run it would be Burge.
Signing: Allassani. Probably harsh, but felt like there was excitement about the signing and we've barely seen him.
Loan Player: Meyler, seemed to make complete sense at the time, and in hindsight made no sense at all
Game: Shrewsbury at home last game of the season or Blackpool away
Goal Conceded: Burge at Walsall
Moment: Thomas' miss(s) v Portsmouth and realising that the playoff dream had slipped away
