In the end 'the club' is about Coventry, unless you would support a franchise team.
Attending 'home games' out of Coventry isnt supporting the club its supporting Sisu's game plan of using the club.

Well I must admit seeing the tripe from yourself GPE isn't surprising ..

Easy to point the finger at others though isn't it?

I continually place my faith in Sisu? It's not about having faith in Sisu. Sisu own the business which is known as Coventry City Football Club, they are responsible for maintaining their business in such a way they see fit.

Now with that said there is no fan stake in the Club, the most populous Supporters Organisation is on touchy terms with the owners and none of the fans are particularly keen on Sisu either, meaning there is no say in the short or long term running of this business other than what the owners have, therefore we are stuck with their decisions, Sisu are the only group who can bring this Club back to the Ricoh Arena and Coventry..

Defeatist? Maybe you believe so but I think upon my stance as realistic and factual rather than defeatist..

Fans who attend Sixfields are not supporting a morally wrong decision made by an organisation that benefits for it's own gain. The fans who attend Sixfields only want to watch the team they love is that so wrong ?

What out stands me Samo, is that 'fans' genuinely want to point the finger at other fans for attending the fixtures at Sixfields as a cause for the reason we will be playing our fixtures there next season.

It's ridiculous on so many levels, the concept has no bearing, yet no one will listen and unfortunately it's comment like some of the above which are tearing our fan base apart.

Who said forced ??
Imagine this scenario no home fans at sixfields. The fl being asked by the press if they think that this situation is acceptable ?
This would at least require the fl to review their actions and ask questions of Sisu !!!

Why or how would it? They were criticised and questioned a year ago when they sanctioned the moving of the club miles out of its home, and they fobbed everyone off. They've got at least three seasons to fall back on that excuse before they even have to acknowledge this potential two-year extension that relies on stadium plans being shown off.

If the Football League were that sensitive to criticism and press intrusion, we wouldn't be in Northampton to begin with.

Coventry is my faith. That's the whole point - I think you're missing it - not going to Sixfields. It isn't Coventry.
With respect - I think you're missing the bigger picture. The future of our club. Yours and mine.
You seem to be thinking - 'I can't miss my team's games -I'd be disappointed.' That kind of thing. Ok, that's fine. We all feel that.
But we know in our hearts that it is wrong to endorse this move.
As I say, I applaud your support. But you are missing the wider implications. Every fan that steps through the Sixfields gate is knocking another nail in the CCFC coffin.

You just said on a previous post that you were unwilling to go inside sixfields to make a point that dish could have this many fans but because you moved the club to Northampton, you have only got 1,500 fans,if you are unwilling to change your stance to make a point why should the sixfielders like me if you yourself won't go the extra mile to make a point either !!! Also your point made just now is that I can't not attend sixfields because I'd be disappointed to miss a game this makes it sound like it's a peti thing,I assure you it's not,I have supported the club from the age of 5 like a lot of life long fans and fans who have supported them longer than I have, but I will tell you I went to the first game away to crawley and I knew then I would not be able to stay away so it's not a small thing and for most fans they have decided that the best thing to Edo is to stay away and I respect that but I can't do that some say that's selfish but I just can't stay away from my club, the club I grew up loving !!! #PUSB !!!

You are right the FL haven't the balls to stand up to our owners, just go with the flow it's easier.

The only ones standing up to our owners are the loyal fans who are boycotting Sixfields. Not hiding behind my 5 year old pestered me into going. Loyal fans who are going without their football fix, the opportunity to support their team, foregoing their attendance records; because they know what the owners are doing to this club, it's fans and the community base, is intrinsically wrong.

Which is their choice but I try and just watch the team and for once forget about our shifty owners or our shifty council or our shifty FA or FL and just enjoy my team playing a game of football !!! #PUSB !!!

He's not naive he's just got an open mind like me,as he isn't blaming others for what our council and owners have left our club in,a huge mess but a mess we all love which is ccfc.at least he isn't another spionkop blaming other fans for something that they obviously did not create nor want to happen !!! #PUSB !!!

I most certainly have not given up or accepted the situation. What's that quote about knowing what we can change, knowing what we can't change and having the wisdom to know the difference? I am in for the long haul, I intend to see this through and support my team again in Coventry. But I will not expend energy on silly shit that common sense tells me will get us nowhere.

Coventry is my faith, you are moving the goalposts. It's not me blaming the fans for moving the club to Northampton - you know they didn't, I know they didn't. What I am saying (and you are ignoring) and have said repeatedly in our exchanges - is that fans that go into Sixfields are helping in prolonging this farce. They are complicit in it. I'll keep saying it.
& of course I'm not going into Sixfields. That would be wrong, very wrong.
A total boycott is a big move towards getting our club back. There are a few holding that up. And they're hiding their selfishness behind the badge of 'I'm just supporting the lads.'
Very soon there won't be any 'lads' to support if something doesn't give. Sixfielders are part of the problem.
Robo, we all love our club. We want them to be around a lot longer. Trouble is we don't have any faith in Sisu. They've let us down at every turn. How you could possibly hope that they will protect CCFC, words fail me.
You are a pawn in their game.

Well, if you want to cover your ears and block out the sinking of the good ship Sky Blue, go ahead. In Northampton. Not Coventry. It's so wrong. Doing nothing and hoping Sisu come good is asking for big trouble.

You are the problem, not the solution.

With your tedious repetitive crusade against OTHER FANS you ensure that nothing will ever happen except for splits, splits and more splits.

And as you do that, you encourage inaction and the dirge of disaster.

But you won't see it, the same as in your head you handing money over to SISU previously is justified... because it suits your world view.

Spite, bile, hate solve nothing, even less when directed against your (supposed) own. The irony is that the most complicit on here with SISU's actions is YOU.

But you are blaming them indirectly because you blame them for prolonging the stay in Northampton which isn't the case the only reason we are at Northampton is that 2 sides can't get along and refuse to do so,and continue with tit for tat attitudes it is not because fans have continued to show support for the team you fail to understand I'm sorry but you can't just state it's the fans keeping us there nor prolonging our stay because that simply isn't true !!! #PUSB !!!

No I'm on about the council who charged us over 1.2 million rent, who stopped us owning half the ricoh although there was faults on both sides of that and who also cost us 10 points last season out of pure spite yes that's the council I'm on about !!!

So how did CCC stop our club from owning half of the Ricoh?

CCC gave our club 50% of ACL. Our club sold it. SISU could have bought it back for 1m less than it was sold for. But you try to blame CCC for it.

Because as we were going to buy the Yorkshire bank loan which would allow us to own half of acl but the council played 14 million of tax payers money to stop dish, I'm sorry if I'm wrong but that's my understanding of it !!!

No need to apologise for being wrong.

You have got a bit mixed up with the so called road map. SISU agreed with CCC to buy out Higgs. Then pay off the mortgage. Half of the Ricoh would have been theirs. No ACL. Their share was offered to them for 5.5m but tried to offer them 1.5m down and the rest over 10 years. Higgs wanted proof of funds. SISU refused this. This was the time that SISU stopped paying the rent and tried to make out that it was in agreement with CCC to do so. But it seems as though it wasn't. At about this time they made out that they were in talks to pay off the mortgage. They had no right to though. And also at about the same time they offered Higgs 2m for their share saying that the share was worthless. All this came out in court in the case against Higgs. Even the judge pulled them up on this.

They could have had a half share in Higgs if they would have paid for it. And less than Higgs paid for it.

If they would have kept to the road map they would have owned half of the Ricoh. If they would have paid Higgs they would own half of ACL.

Obviously I didn't know that thanks for that I actually have a better understanding but my point still stands about the council spitefully refusing the cva resulting in a ten point deduction and charging 1.2 million rent money !!!!! But the bit about the ricoh is wrong I stand corrected, although the council have played a part in pushing us away imho !!!!

It isn't as simple as that though.

Wouldn't it have been state aid if tax payers money had been used to cover the mortgage payments instead of the rent whilst the Ricoh had built up the business from scratch when it first opened?

Was it OK for SISU to threaten liquidation until CCC threatened administration, which made SISU choose administration so they could get Appleton? That is what cost us the 10 points. The way that SISU got out of the rental agreement.

Exactly Jack.. You are 100% right, we all want actions not promises or false hope and sadly we must hope that in the prospect of returning to Coventry and the Ricoh Arena that Sisu come through for us.

There is no other group or entity that can force them back as owners of Coventry City FC they have purchased the right to run this business in any way they see fit. Yes that's depressing for all fans of the Football Club to hear but it's the truth.

Naive you say Jack? My opinion is the truth and the reason you call it naive is because you don't want to face up to it..

That's not it in doubt Spoinkop, I am sure we all love it for different reasons.

Spot on , no one has any faith in Sisu and it can't be blamed, however it's not a case of me 'hoping' that Sisu will do the right thing for CCFC, I believe at some point they will do the right thing for CCFC and there business, because no other business can survive like CCFC can at this moment in time.

Maybe we are all a pawn in their game Spoinkop? However what fails me more is when I see you insinuate that the fans who go to Sixfields like Torch, Grendel, Nick & Cov is My Faith (but to name a few) may be liable for keeping our Club in Northampton? What I see are honest people, who want to watch there home town Football team play and they have washed their hands of hatred and opinions to show their undivided support to the team.

A few Sixfielders keep going on about this points deduction this season, so let me explain again:

IT MADE NO DIFFERENCE.

We are a league 1 club now, and we would have been without the deduction.

Do you honestly believe that applies to Grendel? And to a lesser extent Torch?

Two very bitter and twisted individuals who seem to fantasise over the demise of Coventry City Council and who appear to want Sisu to "beat" CCC regardless of the consequences.
