How can you know that? If loads move into the family zone they'll be paying less than last year.
Many in the standard zone just won't renew, young adults and the over 60s particularly impacted.
Many kids won't go as a lot of STs bought for kids who go occasionally won't be renewed as adults won't want to move.
Premium zone has been tried many times and they always scrap it. You get a situation where blocks 19 and 21 are half empty and 18 and 22 are full. Always used to look weird.
Remember it's a fixed price too. So if you're an adult, £20 more this season to hedge against 10% inflation matching increase next season isn't so bad.
Inflation will never be negative though unless we got proper economic apocalypseAnd I assume prices will come doesn't when inflation eventually does ? No you know once these prices rise and are accepted its over and its only going 1 way
No they are just whining cos that’s what we doLoads on CWR saying they aren't renewing because it's too expensive for kids.
Are people really deciding to give it up instead of moving behind the goal and paying less than this season?

Its easy to see why ..the atmosphere is part of the match day experience, will be like Wembley for a womens match behind that goal .. no disrespect.Loads on CWR saying they aren't renewing because it's too expensive for kids.

Tbf do the ones with 4yos want the 16yos in with them either? Its easy to see why ..the atmosphere is part of the match day experience, will be like Wembley for a womens match behind that goal .. no disrespect.
People have friendships developed over years , kids included in that .
These kids prices of 2-300 quid for u18s and u14s will be one of the more expensive around ..no doubt in this league..a 5 year old 200 quid ? It's shiteReally? Then why are halfway line seats always full at other grounds?
We were the only club to not have pricer seats in those areas.
I've spoke to 5 people at work this morning that take kids aged between 8 and 15 and they are all fuming , don't want to sit behind the sun blazed goalTbf do the ones with 4yos want the 16yos in with them either?

I mentioned earlier in the thread this year was going to be my 1st season ticket in my life (I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago, for reference).
Personally I think the pricing is exceptional value for me, my friends and I were taking bets on what they'd be if we got a sniff of the premiership and our guesses were a hundred higher at least.
I think that the way people are ignoring the value of the family stand offer is poor, as people have pointed out this is one of the lowest priced options in the league. I know people are reluctant to move seats, but for a few hundred quid saving, I'm pretty sure it is worth it. Who knows, there might even end up with atmosphere in two sections rather than just the old corner?
I get that people have concerns about atmosphere, but the corner was becoming an issue wasn't it. This helps to resolve the issue in a constructive way, rather than a heavy handed approach which I am sure was coming.
The area I think there's been a huge mis step is the over 60s tickets. I think this should've been put on a 'Grandfather clause' pun intended btw - where we rise existing ST holders eligibility for the 5 years. I.e. if you're 61 and have a legacy price you continue at that till 65, but if you are just turning 60 then you wait till 65.

I don't think you are factoring any other factor than cost , which is not how it works for most peopleI'd move behind the goal.
I've sat in Singers Corner for 15 years but am considering taking my nephew up to block 30 when it opens.
It's too cheap for me to turn down. Costs less to take a nephew and his mate than it is for me on my own.
If you haven’t got children you’ve got to pay almost 50% more.
If inflation comes down then prices will just rise slower. And I assume prices will come doesn't when inflation eventually does ? No you know once these prices rise and are accepted its over and its only going 1 way
Also , the sun's in your face all game .. it's shitI'd move behind the goal.

Will be like Wembley for an u21 match , maybe we will get free horns to blowNo, it's the atmosphere and being with people.
I get it, I love sitting in the corner. However, they have made it so affordable behind the goal, I'm tempted to move and take a nephew.
The option is there to pay peanuts and I'm taking it. Hopefully others do. Could be great behind the goal next season.
Looking for stuff now. It’s fine with a capAlso , the sun's in your face all game .. it's shit

It's not really that much different to some other parts of the ground in the jsb bitWill be like Wembley for an u21 match , maybe we will get free horns to blow
I wonder if the “on my mind” song will still be as popular?
No, it's the atmosphere and being with people.

It's really notYou'll be back within 3 games. You'll hate it. It's like being in a different stadium.
That’s still a significant hike for many people, and one that many other clubs in our league decided against imposing. Fair enough if we chose to do different but we shouldn’t pretend it won’t affect the atmosphere, which until now made us a standout in this division. Most adult seats are 16% more.

Here are the season ticket prices at some of our playoff rivals for comparison. Don't think ours are that bad.
Middlesbrough
Adult: £544-£620
Adult & Under-18 in Family Stand: £590
