it was worse than that, tbh. we had to go to the first game on a printed ticket, despite having bought out STs many weeks before.Last year was pretty late, think it was in the week leading up to the opening game of the season as I felt slightly nervous it was all going to go tits up, but it was fine
i guess it's reasonable for them to ask for proof, especially if they are tightening up on things.Just had an email asking for a copy of the grandson's birth cert/passport to prove his age!!!
He's had 3 st's and he's 7 so never had this before. I'm not too keen on his ID and info being circulated around, given all the data protection stuff, how do they dispose of it and is it secure? They say his card won't be activated until they get the proof, so I'm not sure how to proceed. any answers???
You could try telling em to fuck off with their pathetic grab!!Just had an email asking for a copy of the grandson's birth cert/passport to prove his age!!!

We know the intention here, I'm surprised a local journalist hasn't picked up yet,the aim is get an adult in place of concessions ,if that is good for the club or the stadiums owner all to the good hey!

Because they should believe strangely enough IMO or come up with better than disclosure of such information, bloody assuming everyone's a cheat fucking disgusting AFIC.Bit of a stretch. Why shouldn’t they ask for proof of age? Don’t see an issue myself.
It's already evident!FOOTBALL CLUB ASK FOR PROOF OF AGE FOR CHILDS SEASON TICKET
Not much of a headline really.
It's already evident!
IIRC Shmmeee is all in favour of more sharing of personal data.Because they should believe strangely enough IMO or come up with better than disclosure of such information, bloody assuming everyone's a cheat fucking disgusting AFIC.
Not sure if they asked for proof of age when I reached the other end of the concession scale!
That it's a child and Will be for a few years,if you take a child to a match it's .evident no need for proof, all clubs are doing this, it's a corporate move and I'm uncomfortable with how it's headingWhat is? People took the piss last year. Here’s the result.
They already have the kids date of births from the first season they had a ST .. not sure why they've asked for them again
To call you a liar mate! They already have the kids date of births from the first season they had a ST .. not sure why they've asked for them again
To call you a liar mate!
Don't mind just seems weird as we've renewed every year .. I hope they're the same age as I think they are
I reckon they don’t want your kids in the ground so they can plonk 2 adults next to you instead
Creep creep, progress mate, old fart here I mind kid's being commodity is what's eating at me I'll leave it now!I reckon they don’t want your kids in the ground so they can plonk 2 adults next to you instead
How about height limit, anyone over 1.2 m is an adult?
Around three games into the season. So in recent seasons, when have the club produced and despatched ST cards to new purchasers ? Obviously there is no rush but just curious …..
Yeah they used to do it for STs when I went to colleague.FOOTBALL CLUB ASK FOR PROOF OF AGE FOR CHILDS SEASON TICKET

Pretty sure we had this back in the mid 90’s for my season tickets.
Ha…bloody spellchecker.Yeah they used to do it for STs when I went to colleague.

Do you really think they hope I’m lying my son is 8 so they can sell another adult ticket?
Might be wrong on this but I thought we were keeping last year's tickets (which would obviously be updated by the club) if we stayed in the same seats. They're not dated so no reason why there should be new tickets for those of us staying in the same seats ?
If it's good enough for you then that sounds okay to me!🫣I got emailed earlier. Sent a picture of myel daughters passport.
Pretty sure it's well within reason to ask

Had to take Birth Cert/ID to Thackhall Street ticket office back in the day, every season, for a JSB/Junior season ticket.
Had to start taking my mate's little brother's birth certificate when i reached 18.
