I said on a previous thread, my friend lives in Moseley and supports Reading. He contacted me about a few days outIt may not be many, but I would have thought there will be a handful of curious locals who turn up out of curiosity - especially if Blues are not playing on the same day.
Just ordered with 1 more than last year!

I think we will do okay in regards Season Ticket sales. circa 6.8 last year, so I think anything over 4k be a reasonable effort.
I will pick and choose my games tbh. No protest, just up in Lincoln so committing to one is not a viable option.
After all and considering the state we are in, I am quite positive about next season.
Don't care what their sexual preferences are - they'd all still be welcome! It may not be many, but I would have thought there will be a handful of curious locals who turn up out of curiosity - especially if Blues are not playing on the same day.
Won’t he give you one?Going to buy another one later just so there's space for Tim in case I see him walking past and ask him to sit with me.
Won’t he give you one?
You have to look at the people saying that. The Facebook forum for instance is full of people shouting boycott but if you go on there on a match day it's full of people looking for a free ifollow stream. They didn't attend anyway. It’s great to see how many people on this forum are buying season tickets to support MR and the team, or are stating their intention to attend as many home games as possible. I wish this was replicated across all social media, but this doesn’t seem to be the case, unfortunately. I live near Newcastle upon Tyne, so a season ticket doesn’t work for me, but I do intent to go to a lot more home games this season, as well as the away games I usually attend. We must do what we can to encourage people to turn up and support the team, while of course, respecting those fans who can’t make the journey.
I fail, however, to understand how proposing and supporting a boycott for some reason of ‘principal’ will help in any way, it will only hurt the club and the team. PUSB!
Exactly, the ones shouting won't have bothered. The ones who did just won't go and you probably won't hear anything from the majority of them. You have to look at the people saying that. The Facebook forum for instance is full of people shouting boycott but if you go on there on a match day it's full of people looking for a free ifollow stream. They didn't attend anyway.
Of course I'm not saying everybody is going along happily to Brum, a lot will not go, reduce their attendance or lose interest but a lot are just shouting their mouth off while not changing their support pattern.
Did wonder how people who say they are going away only are going to get tickets given some of the small allocations in this division and priority booking for season ticket holders. There was a guy who went in yesterday to ask for an away season ticket the first question should have been have you got your home one
4k? Surely not. I thought I was being wildly optimistic with 3k. Anybody fancy doing some dots?
I'm very tempted to take my allocation to games I'm not going to, flog them over priced on the Facebook forum and donate my profit to the club.Did wonder how people who say they are going away only are going to get tickets given some of the small allocations in this division and priority booking for season ticket holders.
I understand the thought process behind this and it has crossed my mind as well to spite those who have been unnecessarily vocal against going. However, being rational and knowing that those few don't represent the average City fan it's creating further division. A few years ago I was someone who would attend as many home/away games as I could get to (whether it be financial, was saving for a wedding, or other commitments at the weekend), so couldn't get a ST, and there will be many who go to St Andrews without a ST who shouldn't be punished as such for not being able to get a ST. I don't think it's fair to punish younger me, or many others, for not being able to make that commitment.I'm very tempted to take my allocation to games I'm not going to, flog them over priced on the Facebook forum and donate my profit to the club.
I think 4k would be amazing but can see it being about 2k with match packages on top.
I think it goes:I'm waiting for the fixtures to come out first. I missed quite a few game last year at the Ricoh and the season ticket was still good value. If I will have to miss many more than I will probably get the match package when they come out.
Do match package holders still have priority for away matches?
Damn! Why did you have to rub it in about the friends?I think it goes:
STH and friends
Match Package and friends
Membership and friends
