No sale to Sisu.
Since they took over , we have plummeted from Championship strugglers with no money to League one strugglers with no money,no assets, no ground, no future, no fans, ...................... and some of you think it's a good idea to sell the Ricoh to these parasites!
Wonders never cease!
Attrition............
Attrition............
I assume you mean standing on a hill in the cold. I have copied this from something I put on a different thread but if my assumption above is correct it is relevant here too:-
There was another thread earlier with an article which gives an interesting insight into the way Sisu as a company operate. Give it a read and you will soon realise they will not sell for any less than what they value the debt to their investors as. Whether that is the quoted £60 million or a little less, who knows. People need to understand this though, Sisu are not the type of company that are going to cut their losses and run. They will be here until they are making a profit or have something of value to sell with the club (ie a stadium). The premise that a few poorly attended protests will force them out is bizarre and I think a white knight willing to pay over the odds to buy the club is unrealistic.
So you don't think the principle of fighting SISU is important? To chuck in a bit of Goodwin's Law, it's like saying - there's no point fighting Hitler because he has a bloody good army and he'll fight till the end
I will not sign it and i won't join in the march. I didn't join in the hill demonstration either. But i have no problem with Torch Grendel and Co marching on the council for what they believe !!!

Well they stormed out of the Alan Higgs Centre, only having to return with their tail between their legs, when the alternative didn't seem so palatable. Perhaps you can explain even if the stadium was gifted to them, even though I expect that would be declared illegal, how could CCFC ever earn SISU over £60 million to recompense her investors. History is littered with companies that many people felt were inviolable, only for them to crash and burn. At the end of the day if fans stay resolute in their determination not to go to Sixfields, and so far the unity has been outstanding, then SISU simply can't ever win. A professional football club without fans is completely worthless.

So you're happy with the Council to stay completely silent?
. To not support it, is tantramount to supporting CCC over your club, IMO.
When sisu took CCFC to play at the cobblers shed it ceased being our CLUB.Nothing that brings CCFC back to Coventry
under the disgraceful and obnoxious ownership of sisu is acceptable.
So what was it then, free publicity time?
My favourite thing about this thread is that it's linked to this one at the bottom: http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/35369-Anyone-seen-this-on-Andy-webster
I wanted to watch that again after seeing him in action for the first time on Sunday
Pretty much! I certainly won't be signing it. I also completely disagree with the statement-I don't "just want the club back in Cov" at any price.
Guess that was me?the bloke who can't quote posts properly, sign up to this too.......
Guess that was me?
I signed, while i may now be getting more interested in all the goings on, untill not long ago i was a passive supporter who payed little attention and just wanted the club playing in Coventry.
Im sure there are many many thousands who see it the way i did.
Screw the politics, who gives a crap who`s in charge, or whos to blame for what.
Whatever it takes to get the team playing in Coventry is ok by me!
Sisu have stated on a number of occasions they have moved on and will not be returning to the Ricoh.
You now want CCC to waste public money on chasing sisu to return to the stadium. Sisu made the wrong choice
so it's up to them to approach ACL/CCC. It does not appear that is going to happen any time soon.

Attrition is not the premise that a few poorly attended protests will force them out.
Sisu are masters of it and incorporate it into their business strategies, well.
unfortunately for us as fans, attrition is all we've got.

can't decide whether this is a serious question or not.Why don't people want the club to own the Ricoh? Are they worried that the owners will set up a seperate company, take all the revenues from it and charge high rent to the club?

That's got to be a valid concern. SISU want the Ricoh, but are not too fussed about the team. The one thing that SISU seem to be efficient at is ensuring that any money owed is owed by the club and not by SISU. And... any assets are owned by SISU and not by the club :thinking about::thinking about:
and that sir... is the post of the day!!!
Any company who bought the club and the Ricoh would have them as separate companies. It would be stupid not to.
Thats not what I commented on was it?
