Look, no-one thinks Sisu are great. They have caused such a mess for our club. Realistically, these are the options of how things will pan out over the next few years:

1. Sisu buy the Ricoh Arena and move the club back to Coventry.

2. We stay in Northampton for 3 to 5 years then move into our new 12,000 seater stadium outside Coventry with Sisu still in charge.

3. Sisu decide the only way to get any money back is liquidate the club and drag it through the courts for months until they get their own way and cash in on Ryton. We on the other hand have to start at the bottom of non league and still don't have a stadium and Ricoh would be unaffordable.

For me it is option 1 all the way.

I think people underestimate how good Sisu are at what they do.

Sisu pick up the Ricoh for peanuts.
Sisu sell the club & stadium for say £40m (do we seriously believe someone will pay this?)
Club now £40m in debt (standard practice to load the cost of acquisition onto the club, this is what Sisu did when "making us debt free")
Sisu walk away having lost virtually nothing.

How are we now in a better position?

I understand how Sisu want this, but what's the benefit for me as a CCFC fan?

Edit: for the hard of thinking: CCC took out a loan then loaned that money AT A HIGHER APR to ACL. It's a profitable commercial decision that will make the taxpayer money. Even more so when you consider it was made to protect an investment of over £100m that kind of relies of ACL being viable.

I will not sign this and I hope all right minded fans will not sign it.

It stinks to high heaven of SISU spin - all talk of a new ground has long disappeared and all we have had in the last few days is "let SISU have the Ricoh".

This is another clumsy attempt to sway public opinion and persuade people that the council are somehow responsible for providing a home for the football club. Local councils have a lot of duties and responsibilities, but one of them isn't to provide a home for a professional football club. Nor is it to provide the means for a private investment fund to recoup or make a profit on a failed investment.

The only party responsible for providing a home, is the owner of the football club. So SISU, let us see the plans for the new stadium or admit that it is not going to happen and approach ACL about the possibility of a lease at the Ricoh and stop encouraging your stooges to pressure the council into gifting you a home. Or, preferably, just sod off.

Maybe the fact that he continually champions Sisu's preferred outcome? Maybe because he suspiciously wrote this article days before being granted an exclusive interview by Seppala? Maybe because he attacks anyone who is not pro-Sisu?

Also, putting "I'm not pro-Sisu but" into articles like Les and this new splinter group do is identical to "I'm not racist but".

Find me somewhere where Nikki Sinclaire has criticised Sisu since meeting with Seppala and agreeing to help her investigate EU funding (what happened to that by the way, surely not more "costly legal action"?)

It's taxpayer money however it was obtained. Someone has to pay it back and at the current time ACL will struggle to do so.

No. It's. Not. It's the bank's money and it made ACL more viable so more likely to pay back the loan.

And again if ACL go bust CCC taxpayers lose an order of magnitude more than £14m.

This is not ACL or the Councils doing. SISU refused to pay the rent they signed up for. If they are genuine just buy the RICOH at its current market value. Do this and we will be behind them again...simple!

Well he is clearly not pro-Sisu. And what is wrong with him thinking that something Sisu offer is ok. We are not all that far gone we can only see one side of the coin.

i think the petition is a good idea.

hopefully it will force one of the council leaders to publicly invite joy diversion to meet woman to woman, Ann Lucas would be a good candidate. on the off chance that joy blanks her we can then start another petition hopefully Ann Lucas will again invite her publicly to a meeting. i mean what are the chances of joy blanking her twice, after all joy has publicly stated that the terms for return to the ricoh are definitely absolutely negotiable so there is definitely absolutely no reason why we cant get an outcome from this.

To be fair, the majority of leaked documents were for players that left 3-4 seasons ago, not the current squad so only really proved that ltd had traded and singed players in the past.
