Just using the forum to air a point of view. It may be wrong, it may have some truth.

The owners of our club are a regular discussion point on this forum. And browsing the Beeb website today, I see Sheffield United have accepted a bid from an American for £115million. And with Derby also changing hands eventually.....

I wonder if CCFC have been approached by potential buyers with significant bids already but have been deflected by the current owners ? SiSu have always been about working quietly behind the scenes so we'd get no knowledge of the approach unless its leaked by the other party and SiSu normally cover that with a NDA. And while the club is in a progressive direction, they really have no reason to sell now, especially if they believe we could be heading toward the financial cornucopia that is the Premiership. And if we get there, any selling price would rise dramatically.

I think we've got to face facts and accept we're going to have SiSu as owners for a long time to come.

This is kind of being covered on the 'A club, its Fans, a Ground and New Owner' thread.

Our stadium situation is likely putting potential bidders off before they even get to talk to Sisu/Joy.

Well people are willing to buy Derby with no ground, massive debts and league 1 status.

There’s also the potential to buy a stadium from a willing seller, so the scenario is slightly different

How can you overlook our 10 year plan for a new stadium at the University? That surly must be a big selling point

Sheffield still have £50m parachute payments to come over next 2 seasons- which helps

How much for tho another 30 odd million.
Would make Derby sale over 100 million.
