He won’t get a game as we are seeing now he’s 4th choice you plonker let’s not forget dabo CDM to come soon tooDon’t understand this negativity towards Sheaf he’s okay and played a lot of games in a team being constantly altered for injuries. Let’s see how he fares playing with a full squad.
How many matches ago was the reading game? He could have made his mind up in that time? It does seem odd but I am not close enough to the training or the deal to know if it presents as good value.I don't understand this conspiracy theory, there's literally zero logic to it. He's made 7th most appearances of anyone in the squad & if there was a concern about hitting an appearance milestone why would you bring him on for 11mins v Reading when the game's already over & you have Jamie Allen as an unused sub?

Let’s see if we end up signing himWell, go more recently then, why give him 15mins v Brentford or 25mins v Swansea when you have Shipley & Allen both unused?
It's a bizarre conspiracy theory that makes absolutely no sense but then looking at who dreamed it up in this thread that's not really a surprise.
If we get relegated we have no obligation to sign himIt's becoming increasingly clear that we have a appearance based obligation on sheaf... I also have a feeling that Robins is unwilling to play him as if we go down there's a decent sized fee to pay... If the unexpected happened and we are safe with 3 or 4 games left... You will see what Robins intentions truly are with sheaf
As it stands, it feels like he won't sign him
@Barnsley just said he would walk into their side
Bottom line he’s better than sheaf and offers more sheaf would struggle to make their bench facts are robins clearly thinks James offers more as he’s ahead of sheaf
Time will tell i guess but i tend to agree with your reasoned logic, he is staying.Well, go more recently then, why give him 15mins v Brentford or 25mins v Swansea when you have Shipley & Allen both unused?

We're fucked then if we have an obligation to sign him at the end of the season. Robins was asked if it was an option, he said no its an obligation.Allen on over sheaf
The writing is on the wall for sheaf
You do realise they play different positions?Allen on over sheaf

I actually (and I never thought I’d say this) think you’re right. Shake because he’s a really talented player.Allen on over sheaf

Sheaf on over walker.Allen on over sheaf

He’s officially on lol let’s just see this game out nowAnd now he is
Sheaf started the season and found hi. Self in shadow of hamer who made an immediate impact on the team and Sheaf has been trying to catch up ever since, personally I've not been that impressed with him, but what do I know. He's slipped further behind Kelly and James in Robins thinking. So will he stay or go over to Robins.
It will be interesting to see if that pans out.The suggestion is he has to stay as he’s signed a pre contract
Obligation if a % of games are reached was the word on here but I remember robins talking about if he’s happy & the clubs happy,I don’t think it’s set it stone but we only know what we’re toldThe suggestion is he has to stay as he’s signed a pre contract

I think a fee of £750k is there in pre contract if obligations are filled @better days might know moreI believe certain criteria has to be met, I guess it’s based on number of games he plays. His current contract at Arsenal finishes at the end of May, not sure if it triggers a one year extension.
Sign him up! Clearly a talented footballer, and is likely to get better.
Fits the bill for me.
You Wouldn’t sign James on a free but would sign sheaf for £750k ?Id sign him - he’s a reasonable prospect
Don't know the exact details but sometimes a deal is done as a loan with an obligation to buy if there is a problem with the medical or fitness doubtsI think a fee of £750k is there in pre contract if obligations are filled @better days might know more

There is a loan fee then the balance to be paid if the player stays fit and doesn't break down
It may specify a number of games but it's just speculation in this case and only the clubs and player will know
Could be that too - with clauses relating to which division we're in when the loan expiresI’d imagine it was more to do with his wage expectations and Arsenal covering a portion of those as he still had a year remaining on his contract. At least, that’s what I’ve assumed.
You Wouldn’t sign James on a free but would sign sheaf for £750k ?
