So, do you post on here in the expectation that you won't be questioned? Isn't the point of a forum to encourage discussion?
If you don't think swapping "slight" for "much" in a line of reasoning changes things signficantly, then count me perplexed.
Many posters on here are strangers to each other. So what?
He’s generally got them playing on the front foot. Sure there’s exceptions and times where he screwed up. When we played them at home last season, they created quite a lot tbf. 3-0 flattered us a bit.In the game I'm referring to, they had a free kick 25 yards out with 3 minutes to go and it went back to their keeper. I like the bloke but he manages as he played

Parker has got 2 promotions with 2 different teams from this league - with better than most squads how is he a 5/6?Burnley are the most difficult to assess for me. Their squad is much better than their PL points tally in 23-24 would suggest. They underperformed due mainly to Kompany’s stubbornness and refusal to be pragmatic.
They actually did OK in the last couple of months. Now here they are with same quality levels & more experience than in 22-23. I’d rate Scott Parker 5-6/10. If he starts slowly, they’ll pop a cap in his ass and get a better manager in. My gut still says strong top 6.
He’s had some good squads but could have done much better with them, even if he did get them promoted. As an example, he took Bournemouth up in ‘22 but lost the plot and acted as though they were lambs to the slaughter. Gary O’Neil takes over and finishes lower/mid table PL.Parker has got 2 promotions with 2 different teams from this league - with better than most squads how is he a 5/6?
But we’re talking about what Parker could do in the championship, I’d be shocked if Burnley are not in the top 3/4 come the end of the season. He’s had some good squads but could have done much better with them, even if he did get them promoted. Because you constantly move goalposts.I just don’t think it’s that big of deal. I believe I even used the phrase “teams will be a lot weaker” in the same paragraph when referring to the difficulty of the league. I’m just using common terminology, it’s not like I’m forming a legal contract or something. Why are we still debating over this?

Slight and much even you have to admit have very different meanings . Why attempt to defend it at all ? Yes it's only a "fucking forum" ( your words ) where everyone is entitled to their opinions but why say something and then attempt to defend it when you change the total meaning ? It's utter bollocks Just don't get it at all.
Firstly it's no obsession, it's only indicating where you have exchanged particular words to inextricably alter the meaning of your original post in reaction to the adverse feedback you receive. I could easily spout nonsense and then either admit it was shit in the first instance ( the correct response) or change the odd word to comprehensively alter the original statement which is your approach. Then you defend it by claiming that the respondent is obsessed . I challenge you to take a close look in the mirror and try to believe the shit that is coming back at you. You will find it laughable.Maybe the exact phrase that I use changes depending on the mood I’m in or the way we’ve played recently or certain things I’ve reconsidered or even just the particular word that comes to mind at the time? Why does that matter to you so much?
In regards to how easy or difficult we think the league is this year, we’re all just speculating, it’s not an exact science so I really don’t think it’s worth calling someone out on one particular adverb that they’ve used in a paragraph. Your obsession with this sort of shit is absurd and yet hilarious at the same time
Agree that Burnley will prob be top 3 or 4. If Parker was better than 5-6/10, they’d walk the league. But we’re talking about what Parker could do in the championship, I’d be shocked if Burnley are not in the top 3/4 come the end of the season.
Parker knows what he’s doing in this league

See I disagree, if anything I think the league is stronger than it was last time. Leeds the obvious inclusion, we’re stronger, Middlesbrough are stronger. Norwich - Parker has a 100% track record in this league. As a championship manager he’s deffo better than a 5-6/10Agree that Burnley will prob be top 3 or 4. Fair enough. Let’s see what happens.See I disagree, if anything I think the league is stronger than it was last time. Leeds the obvious inclusion, we’re stronger, Middlesbrough are stronger. I expect them to be in the top 2. I’m also confident we’ll be there too.
Only positive it would give us real clout to buy 2 quality midfielders but would mean bedding in two new players
Could get some real quality replacements with £15mOnly positive it would give us real clout to buy 2 quality midfielders but would mean bedding in two new players
Rumour going round the game yesterday that a Prem team has reached the asking price for Sheaf
someone on the championship subreddit said the same.
Just seen people on Sky Blues Talk mention it too, reckon it’s a goer.
Sheaf and Smith Rowe are very different players.I only heard of Man Utd () and Fulham’s interest but Fulham have just signed Smith Rowe so assume they don’t need Sheaf too….
Other than that I assume So’ton, Ipswich maybe? not a great move and definitely not a step up either way - unless of course it’s another case of money talks, which would be disappointing
I think it’s just a nasty rumour
Sheaf and Smith Rowe are very different players.
That's like comparing O'Hare with Sheaf.
Is that your 19 yr old?
