What about agreeing a minute of the game to cover all the sky camaras with a "Sisu out" banner. They would probably need to be on a pole so might be difficult to get into the ground but that is doable.

It wouldn't take long for a steward to confiscate it but just imagine that even for 10-15 seconds all you could see from any camera is "SISU OUT" live on sky sports 1.

I'm also not sure that is even breaching any rules at the Ricoh as all we would essentially be doing is holding up a banner.

Perhaps hover above the ground in a helicopter and lower them down over the cameras.

At point blank range it would just make the pictures dark

Whilst I'm up for protesting, I think we should be leaving the Sheffield Utd game alone. I appreciate that it's on TV and would be good coverage, but it's also the game closest to the anniversary of Jimmy Hills passing. The club have already announced this as a day they will use to remember him. I hate what's happened to our club as much as anyone, but we shouldn't lose sight of everything else.

Although a 90 minute silence would be respectful, eh, on the telly

(Again, I appreciate that'd never happen)

I understand what you are saying but the alternative view is that that could therefore be the perfect time for a protest.

It's normally 93 minutes or so based on the average amount of injury time

Pack the ground - pay our respects to Jimmy. Sing the Sky Blue Song loud and proud and then all leave at HT. That will make a statement.

I reckon a massive Jimmy Hill Conga around the ground? Everybody wear a mask and get involved. It could be like a huge game of snakes.

If the game gets boring, that would brighten it up a bit.

Dressing in black is a bit pointless isn't it? how many people will have dark coats and hats on anyway.

It needs to be on the side where the subs benchs are to be properly seen anyway.

not that many. A lot wear CCFC tops with something underneath, meaning they are in white with a hint of sky blue.

Always gets me seeing that last game of highfield rd showing a sea of sky blue and nothing else in sight. Everyone in black would certainly spark interest

Not by me they don't, it's all coats pretty much.

In the summer then maybe, but people will be wrapping up warm. Not many do the shirt outside the coat thing any more.

Although, it would be perfect for me to be able to try and bring these back:

It needs to be something that creates a photo opportunity and which cameras will focus on. Everyone standing and turning their back to the game for the first 5 minutes might achieve that. It's not that we'd be missing much anyway.

With who?

Isn't the game being chosen to remember Jimmy Hill? Bit bad to start kicking off.

admittedly this would take a little organising ..but with dwindling numbers at the ricoh .. it would not take a lot to get a group of fans to to sit in certain seats and spell SISU OUT..

that way it would be on display and draw attention

Best way of remembering JH would be to DO what he was so good at getting Coventrians to do; UNITE.
If that means doing the conga on the pitch, so be it.

It's actually where a late walkup, putting back the kickoff time, could actually work*... or how about paying respects for JH by the statue, and then going into the ground?

*(Apart from the fact our gates are so small, they'd assume no bugger had chosen to turn up, and kick off anyway!)

Yeah won't be long till there's a pitch invasion or some other.
A banning order could be a bonus at the minute.

Yep, did suggest the walkup one. Look what happens when we have cup games with a big walk up through 2 turnstyles.

Nobody pre buy a ticket if they dont have a ST, everybody just walkup and cause gridlock.

hell, even if they arent going into the game just cause gridlock

I like this idea. Get the kick off delayed as we pay our respects to JH outside the stadium.
