How can you compare the repercussions of Blair's actions where many people died and the repercussions of Sisu who have mismanaged a football club. It's beyond comparison ffs.

Personally think they should be there as I think the "Proxy ",ownership situation is unique to the leagues.

Who's comparing them FFS, I was pointing out it's not about the breaking of laws, if it's

Maybe, but to throw in the comparisons I quoted is bollocks.
It'll never happen anyway, we're a bottom of the table league 1 club that no one really gives a toss about.
It's the same when people say Simon Jordan giving us a mention brings our plight to a wider audience. So what? No one gives a shit. It's all about the premier league I'm afraid, the rest of us are non entities. I long for the day when the sky bubble bursts and the PL goes tits up. Then we'll be back to a level playing field. Whether CCFC will exist in its current form by then, well that's a different matter.

I don't know mark, they have the power to withhold £40M -£50M grant to the FA and are threatening too.
Nobody understands the reasoning in holding our Club as hostage while it sinks into oblivion, while Ludicrous claims of value persist that fly in the face of reality, evidenced by the sale of other Clubs in far better shape than us.
I think it's important somebody at least attempts to drag this information from them and exposes just who exactly lent our club £28M.

That's the get out isn't it ? Sisu might be despised football club owners but what laws have they broken?

The MP's won't waste a lot of time on individual cases they will much more likely go after the governing body and seem like doing something whilst passing the buck

No it was a grey area that they changed afterwards due to outside pressure and publicity , if it had been illegal they may have been taken to court , but that never happened.
See any similarities as to why it shouldn't go?
Yes they should go after the governing body with an iron fist

I think people are assuming that this would be a lengthy detailed examination of decisions that SISU have made. Most unlikely and also unlikely that the consideration of CCFC would last more than an hour. These parliamentary committees are not open ended in terms of time available

Mr Ashley was summoned because he owns a Group that is based nationwide, was alleged to have had questionable employment practices for 17000 plus employees and therefore affects a lot of people directly, even more indirectly and has a huge customer base . There was great national public interest stoked by the press. What we are really talking about with CCFC is challenging football governance with CCFC used as one of many examples, and therefore it is more likely that the FA & FL would be summoned. CCFC doesn't have the national public interest that Ashley's business does, is not unique, is a club that has been in decline for decades and is not the problem for football - the sports governance is.

It would be interesting to see Seppala & Fisher there but I just do not see it happening or if it did any great insight from it. Indeed Seppala/Fisher could use it as an opportunity to deflect attention on to other parties.

Yes that is correct - its illogical to have them present. Politicians sometimes also can get the run around. I could just see them saying how do you feel with your supporters deserting the club and Fisher smugly saying half of London would be full on CCFC fans on April 2nd if there were enough tickets for sale. Also they could easily turn it on its head and ask is a good way to run a business to lose millions a year. It would be a farce.
