You go 2 - 0 up and suddenly the players start stroking the ball around - 20 to 25 passes in total control . The fans are cheering every time we pass . Totally in control.
What followed was a total capitulation. Unacceptable.
I listened to radio Sheffield on the way home. Their fans relieved that with ten men they salvaged a point . NOT ONE positive comment about city other than we are down the bottom scrapping to survive. We cannot win and that means that we can draw as many as we like and we WILL be relegated.
From what I've seen most said we came to disrupt and we struggled, the best compliment I can find is someone saying they (Sheffield Utd) were awful because we did a job on them.

As long as it was 10 against 11 we were in no trouble whatsoever and had plenty of opportunity to get 2 to 3 other goals. We never struggled until the last 20 minutes and after the first Sheffield goal we went to pieces. We should have slaughtered them.
I'm not a big fan of Adam Barton but his substitution made a big difference. He can slow the game down and keep possession. We lost our heads.
