Or perhaps it was because Mowbray was so shit last year, this year is such a refreshing change?
Is that deflection?

Fucking hell, the fact that you watch who likes peoples posts shows you need to get off this site a little more. Get on the golf course and forget about it. Forum victories are just in your imagination. It doesn't matter.

Only caveat is that it seems like it was MR, like TM tried before him, that persuaded SISU they needed a recruitment overhaul- I'd every surprised if the decision came from them- they don't know their Darius Vassell's from their Van Basten's.

yes exactly, great point. TM tried to push this change through and said alot of stuff about changing the club(training room ,team bus etc)

its clear that sisu probably reluctant or just imcompent to make change so quick but at least its happening now

oh wait i forgot its all down to manager, doh silly me.

Oh FFS. Of course I know its not the sole reason. Mowbray was shit last year, his recruitment was utter wank. Of course I know he had little to play with because of SISU but with what he had he was shit.

Don't label people idiots when you are hardly covering yourself in glory.

Exactly.

It seems MR has been given freedom, just as TM had to go and do what they wanted and look after the football side. The different is MR has brought in Widdrington and Mowbray brought in Venus.

MR is straight away looking for different types of players needed, TM was bringing in Wingers on trial when we didn't need wingers.

Joy won't be sat there worrying about our scouting issues.

Or the fact you are trying to praise SISU and other people aren't as that's what you are strangely arguing.

Yes, recruitment is affected if SISU suddenly want to gift the club millions but they haven't. Both MR and TM are given a budget, it's how they manage that.

Nobody is deflecting anything from SISU, it is you deflecting from Mowbray again.

still chatting shit?

because i think recruitment success and failure is down to structure and management that can be seen 2 way

1)praising sisu for making changes
2)blaming sisu for having a broken system in first place

in truth its a bit of both

for you its option 3)everything was always fine from sisus end, its managers fault when things go wrong.

you keep coming back with silly shit about praising sisu, you cannot escape option 3.

“We’ve bought Tommy in to be the cornerstone of a new recruitment process,” City chairman Tim Fisher told the club’s website.

“As a club, we have identified player recruitment as a weakness, and want to put a robust structure in place to ensure we address this shortfall.

“Tommy brings a healthy amount of knowledge and experience, and will be leading a team of scouts to ensure we source players who are right for this football club.”

Mark Robins said: “Tommy has come on board as part of the club’s need to develop a strategic recruitment department, which will be taking shape over the coming weeks.

“This appointment is the first step in that process, and I’m pleased to have the experience of Tommy to lead the department.”

======

but sisu havnt admitted anything? sisu wont care about our scouting apparently.

No, I am saying nothing has changed from their end and it's no different. They still don't give a shit like they didn't give a shit last season.

Mowbray and Venus were given free reign over structure and management as it seems Robins has.

Any success will be despite them and not at all because of them. They will have no clue about a scouting system, that's why they delegate it all and people like Mowbray and Robins deal with it.

I haven't said everything is fine from their end, I have said it's no different and there's no sudden U turn. The same as on Rich's thread. The only difference is people below them doing their jobs better which is why I give them credit.

Maybe go and sit in the corner with SBK and blueflint and figure out CCFC and SISU.

All this is that your man Mowbray is getting even more found out, the same as when he admitted it himself he screwed it up.

To me this looks like an admission that MR wants to restructure recruitment with his man Widdrington and we're gunna let him do it- as opposed to 'SISU want to sort the recruitment problem and MR agrees'

have i blamed mowbray multiple times? yes! so is this me protecting mowbray no?

did nick say sisu havnt admitted anything? yes, did they? yes!

did nick say sisu dont care about scouting? yes, did tim fisher just say scouting is a weakness? yes!

Are you going for the record on how many times you have switched between SISU and CCFC in one post?

SISU haven't admitted anything as they haven't said anything, which is one of the main problems.

No, I have counted that as CCFC chairman. I am also not giving him any praise for something that Robins and Widdrington are clearly doing.

Still, if you want to keep arguing because people say SISU don't deserve praise it only makes you look like a twat. That and the fact you say things like "consider yourself schooled muthafckerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

give it up nick it isnt working! you keep trying to turn this into ccfc4life gives sisu praise and i dont so that shows nick is not a sisu stooge everybody, look everybody!

so transparent

remember option 3 buddy. you dont think there is or has ever been anything wrong with recruitment at the club despite past managers(pressley, mowbray, robins) and tf himself saying scouting a big big problem.

so you can say you are not giving praise to sisu but in reality you are saying they are running club well recruitment wise and no mistakes made and its all down to manager wether we succeed or fail.

option 3 wwoooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh

The flaw in your whole argument is that you fail to see Fisher is CCFC chairman who is employed by sisu. Some decisions he will have to consult sisu on, others he won't. Accepting Robins request that Widdrington be brought in is clearly a decision made as CCFC chairman and nothing at all to do with sisu, in fact they would neither understand or be interested in such a footballing decision.

i count fisher as sisu i admit that. i would be shocked if others on forum do not. i accept ccfc is self contained club and all that but if fishers making the decisions its still sisu decisons to me. so when fisher comes to these fan Q&A's and apologises, hes apologsing for sisu ownership of club imo, not for ccfc.

i understand he says they dont have contact much and i believe that, but his reign with the club is still linked to sisu. so if joy didnt let recruitment fall apart TF did,all same in my book.

Where have I said there has never been an issue with recruitment? I haven't said they are running the club well, I have said that SISU won't be making a massive U turn and suddenly caring about recruitment.

SISU are / were shit. This doesn't change anything because Robins and Widdrington are doing something better, it didn't change it because we got to wembley, it doesn't change it if the academy win the league.

SISU are / were shit. AGREE

This doesn't change anything because Robins and Widdrington are doing something better-THEY HIRED BOTH,forget the praise aspect,i am just saying things have changed since last year and not just manager.

it didn't change it because we got to wembley YET IN ANOTHER THREAD YOU LIKED SOMEONE POST WHO SAID CHECKATRADE MONEY USED THIS YEAR, once again forget praise but this is another change from last summer

it doesn't change it if the academy win the league-AGREE CONSIDERING THE TURMOIL

what i hope my above post points out is that there has been alot of change since last summer, and sisu or ccfc (whichever you want to call it) higher ups have contributed to the change in 1 way or the other, this is not just praise,it can also be a bollocking for having stuff wrong in past and only just rectifying it now

thus our excellent start to 2017 summer is not solely down to a manager change. that is my only point! no protecting mowbray and no huge praise of sisu in sight.

if you re being brutually honest you agree with me,you simply didnt like my jab about you deflecting blame from sisu.
