I would have thought whether it happens or not. SISU would probably prefer we didn't get relegated because that would make a bad situation a shit-load worse.
I don't even think its relative to us getting back up in their eyes ,theres a low fanbase,no hope of promotion ,there will be no value left within the squad by the end of this season ,it only leaves the stadium
It's certainly crossed my mind...I suppose a L1 club is much cheaper to run. Obviously reduced gates and TV money, but maybe they've "done the math" and worked out that a youth team + McPake/Bell in L1 is cheaper than a Championship squad in the Championship.
I think we are either gonna end up 21st or we are going down this year :/ And loving the Dr. Who quotes! :claping hands:

Outside of the local area we are complete nobodies. We were nobodies in the Premiership, we're nobodies in the Championship and we would be barely noticed in League 1. Even less chance of attracting players. League 2 would follow and perhaps worse.

I agree, if the club isn't sold to somebody whos willing to invest millions within the next 5 years, i can see us playing conference football within that time,
the sort of club that would attract investment in league 1 would be a sleeping giant which has a national appeal. As much as we love them, non city fans pretty much see us as a nothing club. Relegation would be an utter disaster
