8 years ago, although I still was a season ticket holder, I really felt cut off from what was once MY football club. MR bought all that I had missed, back. So many unforgettable moments of ‘out of body experience’ jubilation. And that was with a club on its knees and playing away from home.
2 years ago I wrote ‘Silly Old Game’ and basically it was a letter to him. To thank him for giving us something to believe in on a football field again.
I’d rather see Cov in the Championship under Robins than us seek to be a ‘Franchise Premier League’ Superficial team which is apparently what Doug wants.
