Who said they don't count, I think you may have missed the point. The only teams we’ve beaten in the top half is Sunderland & Leicester…
Gyokeres’ scored 12 goals against bottom half teams and a goal against Wrexham in the cup last season. Do they not count either?
Last season we were more of a break away team. Most of our goals were from quick turnovers. Not sure we have the players for this ATM. That said I wish we were clearing the ball out of defence quicker. Against Preston their second was down to that, I would argue the 1st wouldn’t have happened if we had ran out as soon as the corner was knocked up field. Last night we were close to giving the ball away and a better opponent may have got something.
Not convinced with the defence right now.
Why are we comparing a striker and a centre mid to two strikers?...have scored 24 goals between them this season. Exactly the same number that Gyokeres and Hamer had scored between them at this stage last season. Just saying.
Unfortunately, it is you who’s missed the point because I was being sarcastic.Who said they don't count, I think you may have missed the point.
I think they're all saying the same thing they've always said tbf.Unfortunately, it is you who’s missed the point because I was being sarcastic.
There’s always an asteroid whenever Simms does something well. Either the goal was ‘poor goalkeeping’, the finish ‘wasn’t that good’ or in this case ‘yeah he’s scoring but the opposition is in the bottom half’.
At some point, the armchair critics will run out of things to say.
There’s always an asteroid....
Haha I’m glad you got the jistPeak auto correct right here!
Fuck me. The dogmatic, pretentious, cocksure accounts on here always have the most bizarre and wildly incorrect takes.
Miss the part I said in the future?Neither of these two players are premier league material unless they undergo a monumental improvement. By the same token lots of other championship strikers are premier league material as well.
I'm not convinced it's the way to go.Correct.
This was the intent for Robins this year. He said over summer that he wanted to move away from that fast counterattacking team and create a team that dominates the ball more.
That's shown clearly in the recruitment of the players we have, but still needs personnel in key positions if we want to make it the new DNA of the team
Not at all. They're light years away from being Premier league players unless they undergo a massive improvement. If we went up this season neither will be good enough and will be sold .Miss the part I said in the future?
You’ll no doubt get proven wrong like you always doNot at all. They're light years away from being Premier league players unless they undergo a massive improvement. If we went up this season neither will be good enough and will be sold .
Neither in my opinion will ever be premiership quality.
The Wright transfer had been planned prior to the PO final (he was invited over to watch it); he’d have been signed even if we’d have been promoted. Not at all. They're light years away from being Premier league players unless they undergo a massive improvement. If we went up this season neither will be good enough and will be sold .

They’re one league off playing for a team who’s target is promotion so they do obviously do have the future ability to do soNot at all. They're light years away from being Premier league players unless they undergo a massive improvement. If we went up this season neither will be good enough and will be sold .

Adebayo and Morris at Luton looked like they'd struggle but have both scored goals in the Prem. We'll never know if they can step up until we get there. Not at all. They're light years away from being Premier league players unless they undergo a massive improvement. If we went up this season neither will be good enough and will be sold .

In fact they are playing for a team who's target is promotion. They’re one league off playing for a team who’s target is promotion so they do obviously do have the future ability to do so
Simms has already played and scored in the Premier league.......Not at all. They're light years away from being Premier league players unless they undergo a massive improvement. If we went up this season neither will be good enough and will be sold .

Yeah thats what I said, and I can simply say that as Simms has played Premier league and scored, Wright was wanted by clubs like Crystal Palace and I believe Everton in the summer so…In fact they are playing for a team who's target is promotion.
You can't simply say they obviously have the future ability to play in the premier league . That just incorrect.
Simms has already played and scored in the Premier league.......
Also true.So has Kevin Kyle
Wright 6th top scorer in the league now
He’s a strange one. Too good for the championship but cannot cut it in the premier league. He’s quality at this levelHappy to see Adam Armstrong doing well. He would have been one player I would have loved back here

What a dumb take.Simms hasn't scored a single goal against any team in the top half of the championship.
He's scored 6 goals against teams in the bottom 5
And 3 against non league Maidstone United.
Just saying.
Strange as Simms only has to sniff at defenders and foul gos against him.Simms getting even more ignored by refs than Gyokeres was. Defenders hands all over him, dragging him down. It was non stop yesterday, did the ref intervene once?
