the t**t even stated that there was propaganda about sixfields being 34 miles away ( from the ricoh apparantly) whilst he stated it was actually 30!!!

I agree everyone is entiltled to their opinion and it should be respected... but this guy is a nightmare

I think the time might have come to put a complaint in about bias because something isn't right about the number of pro SISU people they have on. when you speak to people at a game or anyone on here you struggle to find more than a handful of people who don't want to see the back of them but everything CCFC related on CWR seems to be full of them.

Probably a poster on GMK...the last bastion for SISU apologists left in Coventry...although it has to be said most don't live in Coventry.

Interesting point about bias...one indicator will be the 1600 cov fans (if they're lucky) at Sixfields vs what ever we get at the Ricoh, expected to be what? 10,000. So taking that as a VERY crude estimation, it should be one caller in about 7 that are pro SISU. Even allowing for travel costs, people just wanting to see how fat Whelan is etc it should be 50-50 tops.

Instead of moaning abput it on here, pick up the phone and call.
Sick of hearing its all sisu's fault, they are all to blame and previous owners and managers for the sorry mess we are in.
Support the team and not the regime and maybe just maybe the 10points will be a distant memory and we are up the right end of the table.

All for having a balanced argument backed up by facts. That unfortunately is where Pete lost it, I suppose ACL are to blame for not filing accounts, transfer embargo's, player sales, management fees and it goes on and on and on. Please don't tell any one who you are in The Open Arms you would find the majority of us don't agree agree with a word you say but its your view, however tainted.

I think it's the (seemingly) genuine outrage that he conveys that makes me (us) think he's so misguided. Needs a cup of tea and a cucumber sandwich, before a trip to the doctor to review his medication. Either that, or he stood to be a councillor and didn't get elected - and he ain't happy !!

Did I hear right on the phone show tonight, the Sky Blue Trust have bought 400 season tickets?
Or was that 400 tickets for the Ricoh on Sunday?
Hoping I misheard it.

Just listened to pete on listen again, i think he needs to reflect on all that he said. I was pleased when SISU took over, I'll not lie, I thought great at last rid of the people that had got us into this mess- loss of ground etc, as I thought/hoped the had the means to invest and get us moving in the right direction, take part if not full ownership. However I/we now know different don't we, well most of us do. Hence SISU now = the death of CCFC for most.

Pete if you read this, please remember. You can fool most of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Which camp are you in Pete, I fear you're in the some of the people.

Who was the clown going on about a chip shop selling pies, fish and chips, but only getting the profits from the sale of cans of coke? He spoke complete drivel.

Also whenever that Pete comes on he brings up poitics and usually the Labour party. Why doesn't Eakin or that Shane O'Connor remind him the whole council Labour and Conservative voted unanimously for the current ccc position. This not poilitical.

I sincerely hope not - especially when they are trying to make money from selling keep cov in cov wristbands! It would be the ultimate betrayal of every single member of their group! Must have been misheard

This was some guy called Paul who phoned up & took the line oft repeated by SISU supporters who go on the media 'they're kids out there, you should be supporting them' (are you seeing a 'message' from someone here?), in fact if the club was in Coventry they could have a much much stronger squad consisting largely of seasoned professionals.

As for the point about 400 season tickets, I think he was on about the (up to) 400 in total had been 'sold'. The SBT haven't bought any, in fact they're helping in the FPA charity game at the Ricoh on Sunday & this is on their website. (are you seeing a 'deliberately confusing message' from someone here?)
The Sky Blue Trust is honoured to be assisting the FPA in this fantastic endeavour and urges all its members and all members of the Sky Blue Army who are not going to the clubs “home” game at Northampton to join us at the Ricoh. Lets All Sing Together to celebrate our clubs 130 year anniversary, watch some of our heroes, have a great, fun day and raise money for some great causes.

Then this Paul went on to complain about ACL's debt restructuring by the council, saying he was angry because SISU were about to get the stadium as ACL were "about to fall over" (are you seeing a 'message' from someone here?).

Sounded like he was reading from someone else's script but didn't do a terribly good job of it.
