so do we know if the bid originally made by SISU was the same as the one reportedly made by hoffman? just be intresting to see how similar they are because by the sounds of things they both were for a pound and have alot of other similar things about them. And if thats the case there isnt really a argument for saying one investor is worse than the other :thinking about::thinking about:

Two different bids whatever as the circumstances are not the same. The SISU takeover was needed to stop us going into admin. It needed an instant cash injection to keep us going. We know they used their own cash to do this. Also, the SISU bid was not illegal for having someone involved that was not allowed to be. Otherwise as we do not know anything else about the bid other than it seemed as though we were going to be financed by interest paying loans and not a cash investment. We can only guess the rest of the bid.

No where have I said that anyone who doesn't agree with my thoughts is pro Sisu.

Do you work for Sisu ? You seem to make things up just like they do.

I'm happy to listen to other forumers views on things at our club, people like oldskyblue & Torchy I respect there view as they don't try to force there views on others or belittle anyone else's opinions like you do.

Not everyone agrees with you, get over it.

What I know about the other bid was that they had money to invest and that if it was accepted, then we would have finally seen the back of people who have done a poor job at our club.

I am not forcing my views on anyone. When forcing your views on people they will not listen. When have I ever said everyone agrees with me. You don't for one

You say yet again they had money to invest. You have not said a word about what or how you know. A poor job at our club? Is this because they didn't spend like they have at Fester? They have made mistakes. Everyone does. We seem to be on the right lines now. Long way to go, but at least going in the right direction.

I am very happy to listen to what people say. That is why I come on here. What do you say they have done that is so wrong? To me it has been lack of information. Lack of experience in football which led them to trust the board they first put in place too much. More mistakes have been made. So we are in a worse place than when they took over? This is one thing nearly everyone knows to be false.

I can't think of anything Sisu have done a well with while running the club, but like me i can imagine 99.9% of fans understand at this minute we have no other option as they hold all the cards in determining what happens in the future... Everyone that Sisu have brought out in front of the fans has either lied, towed the line or defended what they have done which in the end is creating mass frustration amongst the fans..

And as a fan we may follow the team with blind faith but because of it doesn't mean we are blind to being BS too and now you are seeing this by more than 50% of the fan base that turn up!!!!!!!!. So i dont like Sisu and like many more are staying away until i feel like we are as a club being ran correctly. As i feel i have given enough of my money to them to play with and until now waste to the point the club is on a worse finacial and player standard than the day they took over......

With the greatest respect to all contributors - this has and SISU has been talked to death recently. Nothing is likely to change in the near future, including opposing opinions on SISU. I do think the over riding feel is that CCFC fans want SISU out (including many of those claiming pragmatism or realism in their reading of the situation) but I think all would agree it isnt going to be easy.... right now we are stuck with them, and folk are free to protest in a manner of their choosing or not. Each to their own but we are all passionate fans of CCFC. Personally I am going to recharge batteries and stick to events on the field for a while - unless something new or significant happens

Oh come on of course I don't think Sisu are doing a poor job because they havn't spent like Leicester, I am realistic you know

I know Hoffman had Money to invest because I take his word for it.
Do you really believe that he would make a bid for our club and make it so public, only for him to not have funds ?

What if Sisu decided to cut there losses and accepted Hoffman's bid.
Would Hoffman then just turn around and say, do you know what sorry people of Coventry it was only a joke I havn't got any money really.

We don't know if there was much or any cash available. Was it all going to be loans?

I would prefer Hoffman to be in charge, but only if this would bring us forward and not be funded with new debts. What we owe at the moment is owed to SISU. It is said to be interest free loans. If the Hoffman bid was going to be funded by loans would it have been interest free also? By joke bid I meant offering SISU next to nothing for their investment. This would have been good for us if it was accepted as it would have left more to put into the club, but as they are not desperate to leave we will never be taken over with a "joke bid"

There is not a lot of cash just floating about at the moment. This is the problem we have. Just about all the new investments coming into football are from other countries. The best chance we have of a decent offer of a takeover is being near the top of the table. If we get promoted then investment will come. Big if's though.

Say one of us was to win the euro millions jackpot because of our clouded judgement we would be likely to invest in the club. If you looked at a business opportunity in another industry which had CCFC's track record you wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. So in terms of new investment for the club in the short term future is very slim.

With some very keen to be jumping on any criticism of SISU, I doubt it! I refuse to read anything someone ever writes again. It just makes coming on here an unenjoyable experience. Who likes being patronised and talked to as if you're an idiot just because you have a different opinion? "Add to ignore list" is my advice, Gaz

I have to agree, I am mega busy at work lately but whenever I come on here it is "pro sisu or anti sisu: and there is not much of an option of "couldn't give a shit just want to go and watch a game and see my team do well".

SISU are staying until something comes along and offers something that suits them
We are a mid-lower Championship club

we all aspire to be bigger and better and we should, the only way is to build the club from here onwards, from the bottom to the top, its our job to support the team.

You know what even if i won £160M i would not invest a penny in the club apart from attending games, its a mugs game!! I would buy a nice golf course though!!

Am well aware of what PR entails ,reference relating to todays telegraph comments ,the boardroom seem unable to get the message across and AT appears to have picked up the mantle .
