Don't wish to start a hornets nest here (but I think it will) but don't we seem to be flogging the SISU scenario to death lately.
Thread after thread post after post continually pontificating about SISU and the obvious bad aspects of their tenureship at CCFC and endless combinations of thoughts and opinions.
Can't knock democracy ref free choice of opinion etc but perleeeeze can we have some more topics about football in general and CCFC in particular.
This old git's trying his best to encourage banter about:
* comments on impending opposition
* merits of past / current / future players
* comparing current skill base to that of seasons past
* various tactical combinations
* changes to current rules
* attitude of players
* etc
I know the current SISU situation is critical to our current and future prospects and yes I do indeed believe they are lamentable and threaten our very existance BUT it would be nice to have a balanced post to embrace all aspects of the beautiful game now and again.
I await the response with intrepidation wearing my Sky Blue body armour and ear defenders.
Bantam 48 (who normally talks a lot of sense and doesn't post bullshit) has just been tipped the wink that we're going into administration 10.00am on Monday, and has posted the news on GMK.
As much as I appreciate your sentiments, jonniericoh, in the current climate surely you can understand why there are so many posts concerning the very future of our beloved CCFC.
Johnnie perhaps your right about all of the above, but the main hot topic now is sisu, admin, takeovers. The playing side has taken a back seat and maybe quite rightly so. Pressure has to be ramped up even more. Cwr and the telegraph are getting more involved. This is just how it is for us all, sisu cant last much longer then we can get back to footy talk...and the sooner the better. PUSB
To be honest discussing our players is even more depressing - they're either too shit, too young or leaving. Discussing the manager is pointless as who knows what he could do with a proper budget but he has a group of players who are too shit, too young or leaving. Discussions about formations are only relevant if you have players who can fill specific key roles, unfortunately ours are too shit, too young or leaving. Is there are recurring theme here?

.
I'm sure something like this was posted on here a few weeks ago, and I had a look on GMK and it was the same guy mentioned here that Said it before so I find it hard to believe that we will go into admin at 10am on Monday
9.59 I heard but think I could be wrong, don't want to start a rumour but thats what I heard.
See johnniericoh, even when you try it does always get back to the start again.
On the bright side think there will be some posts on football for you tommorrow mate.:thinking about:
I was similarly frenzied and rabid throughout July, August and September. Now I let it all wash over me and try and enjoy the football whatever happens. I know what you mean Johnnie, it is a bit repetitive and tiresome, and the more proper footy talk the better. But I'm equally entirely behind the SISU-out campaign and will contribute in any way to help make that happen (bar not going..I've got my ST so I'm going to support the players). So I can see both sides-it's up to people who feel like johnniericoh to try and start topics other than the same-old.
But equally, it's probably as bad as it's going to get just now; we've just had a 2 week break, and in the meantime the deafening silence from our most illustrious custodians as they seemingly implode is only going to prompt more gossip and conjecture as to their intentions.
