I am afraid the protests outside the Ricoh a good hour before kick off on Saturday MUST begin

If no takeover happens we have to ensure our voice is heard at this horrible way we are being run now.

An hour before? It's hard enough going for 90 minutes at the moment.

Why protest? They won't be there to see it?

Why not have 13000 people stand outside the ground and leave the stadium empty when it kicks off for the whole game? That would REALLY show them!

But they wont be there to see that either.

Best time to protest would be before / during / after the SISU / Hoff and Co meeting. But doubt that would even budge them

Harrison shut the f*ck up, seriously.

AFC COVENTRY, As I said in another thread someone like the Sky Blue Trust or someone needs to organise a march or something to protest. They may not be there but just to do something for them to know whats going on.

The movement has to start.

Are the sky blue trust still going?

Would be better off having a Sky Blues Talk Trust

I know you're joking Nick, but in all seriousness how many members do we have?

Does anyone think it's a reasonable idea to approach the new potential board (if they takeover of course) with a view to donating 100k for 1,000 fans to put in £100 as a bond, in return for a one share board seat with no voting rights? It would enable us to have a permanent and regular voice and offer full transparency of decisions that are made, so we don't get in this situation again. I know collating the cash would be difficult, but far from impossible - I know that I would contribute and I'm sure many here too. All it needs is a holding account and a promise to return all funds if we don't attain the required total.

If he doesn't mind in his absence, then I would suggest someone like OSB would be an ideal representative.

I think it is close to 2000 members now. I just thought that a full on fans forum (or a couple joined together as a voice) may have more voice than a trust that nobody respects.

I know just the place

I don't know much about the sky blue trust though, how did they get the gig of linking to the club? Whenever I have approached the club about working with them to benefit the club and benefit the fans they don't seem to want to know.

I think it was set up when we were first in trouble back at Highfield Road and was a PR stunt which backfired a bit, but partly because it only attracted people who were out for their own agenda and self-importance

As I did my time with the trust I can tell you the club just pays the merest of lipservice to it via the supporters consultative group which meets who knows how often now. It is a group who mean well but are too self important and ham strung by resolutions and protocol to ever be effective. Also the amazingly cynical attitude of many fans to anyone trying to organise anything is untrue. Just look at the treatment and personal abuse Nat used to get - mostly totally unfairly.

Abuse was unjustified, but the free -ticket gravy train was the real incentive for ManUtd supporting Nat

I did read once she supported city for a couple of years!

Surely a seat in the boardroom for the fans would be more transparent!

RR actually met w the trust before the take over to judge fans views etc and garner their support during the takeover and did promise supporter involvement at board level but surprisingly got amnesia as soon as he got the club.
