No Dr Martin Reeves confirmed he personally shock hands with all three sisu directors the deal was done bar the signatures, it was for 150k a year.

They were able to offer 150k because of what the council did.

They could not go that low before.

The directors were really pleased with that offer and everything else including Tim Fisher.

Off they went, then they reneged

What changed their minds?

Arrogance and they didn't think ACL had the balls to go any further with legal action

As I have said before another wrong decision by sisu

clearly trying to force ACL out of the loop to deal on the stadium purchase. Really not sure what they are playing at?!

Are people still happy to defend them when they turned down 150 grand a year.

This decision was definitely one of the impact factors in Mark Robins decision.

One minute he is happy (deal done)

Next he asks to meet the owners again asks for assurances and is off.

Before it came out in the media someone leaked it on here. Robins is off to Huddersfield. The directors agreed a deal and then Joy rejected it so Robins is off.

I cant remember who leaked on here. They did it days ago and got ripped by the usual crew.

How right they were.

Ie £1.2 million rent per year plus match day costs , now £150,00 per year plus match day costs @ £10,000 a game which is all they have been paying recently as you have previously said

And you and others have said WE SHOULD ONLY BE PAYING £150,000 RENT

ACL said it comprised cutting annual rent payments by two-thirds to £400,000; waiving £300,000 of the rent arrears; a long-term deal over repayments; and giving more stadium matchday revenue such as from food and drink sales to the football club.

ACL claimed the package would effectively reduce the current £1.2million annual rent package to just £150,000 paid by the club in total matchday costs while the club remains in Division One.

So it's £150,000 which I agree is comparable. So I also assume that we get all match day revenues like other clubs. I Also assume as they now confirm the disgusting over payment foray years that they will wipe the "debt"?

I'm with you all the way.

It's a very manipulative and contradictory statement. Actually makes no sense.

I think it's £400,000 rent and a reduction of match day costs to £10,000 a game which arises because of a percentage of access to revenue.

Also the club clearly still are asked to pay a million back in arrears surly?

What I would hope we could all agree on is we want a deal agreed and the best for the club

The people who seemed to be egging on ACL to pull the trigger flabbergasted me

Nobody has mentioned the fact to gain access to the matchday revenues that ccfc would have to pay for those rights.... :whistle:

That is what I understood, but Grendel is twisting peoples words as usual.

And arrears payback was over a long period of time.. but now as SISU are playing hardball ACL have decided to get the money direct from their income streams.

The league one average figure we have been talking about and Tim was talking about was 170k

So why is the chief exec of ACL saying it £400k?

In the statement, ACL chairman Nicholas Carter said there would be no further conversations with the club’s directors, unless they were prepared to accept the deal, comprising a two-thirds cut in annual rent to £400,000 while in Division One, waiving £300,000 of £1.3million rent arrears, and more concessions on matchday revenues going to the club.

ACL are no angels. Let's not forgot how they purchased the match day revenue for 6 million over 20 years and then when sisu tried to buy it, ACL wanted £20+ million. There both as bad as each other. Two companies looking out for their interests which is to be expected.

Take what you hear with a punch of salt. ACL like to get the media involved, ie, raise their profile, good PR

All three directors said these are figures we can do business with...... So on so on as per above.

You can see the problem Don, even those on the same side are stating different figures, yesterday ACL say £400k now you say £150k, yesterday's would have been the official press release about the whole situation - to tonight you are saying that the Councils Chief Exec is saying £150k.....

The official ACL spokesperson this morning said £400,000 - are you saying that is a lie. Check CWR transcript if you don't believe me.

The way i read it the amount was 400k but after extra match day revenue income streams it would work out to be 150k.

I saw her do it.

Then she got ripped by lots in her as she was not in the meeting.

I am just telling you this chap said

He was very specific. The offer for the rent itself was 160k and this was accepted and shook on.

Only to be reneged

Didn't he say a net rent of 150k, so instead of rent of 150k with CCFC having access to the income streams it's actually a rent of 400k with access to income streams. You also have to question why if ACL think 150k is a fair rent they are insisting on over £1m in arrears. Works out a lot more than £150k a year!

Interesting that people are happy to believe any vague statement ACL come out with but rubbish any comment from SISU. sure both of them are putting their own spin on things so why believe one over another?

Yes I see your point Stu.

He was very clear, specific and repeated it three times.

I think the issue is getting clouded with other costs.

Fact is Fisher said the average rent in league one is 170k

Myself I sit in the camp that the Ricoh is not average for league one.
Forgot the other stuff the rent offer was 150 fisher was chuffed with the offer said yes and then did the opposite!
