One missing item - use the football club as a front for extracting compensation from CCC. Then liquidate them when all avenues for a successful outcome is exhausted.Cut back, cut back, lose games, lose fans, get relegated, then get relegated again and then relegated once more until suddenly the current 3,000 capacity in place at the Butts is more than enough for us.
Then move to the Butts, job done. No new stadium, but new home, cloth accordingly cut.

Yes and then reduce the 60 million you've lost by approx £2000 PACut back, cut back, lose games, lose fans, get relegated, then get relegated again and then relegated once more until suddenly the current 3,000 capacity in place at the Butts is more than enough for us.

Eh???Yes and then reduce the 60 million you've lost by approx £2000 PA
Yet it is still their best plan on getting their money back so far.Yes and then reduce the 60 million you've lost by approx £2000 PA

To be fair, this isn't so far from a potential truth; the lower we fall the greater the claim for lost revinue if they win the court case AND the less the cost of running the club.
If they are making a small loss each year they can at least pretend that they are trying and have been supporting the club too.
To be fair, Torch, the word back from the council was that they had absolutely no intention to sell to Sisu anyway. There was an 'over our dead body ' policy.Thank God CCC didn't sell the Ricoh to them. First thing they would have done is mortgage the place.
I'm so proud of those who wrote to the council begging not to sell to the club. We wouldn't have had Wasps here then.
Phew, lucky escape.
I think we would if we were non league.I do not think they will ever play home games in the Butts.

Let's just say, it might suit their needs if it does happen and they are not at all bothered about whether we are relegated or not.not sure i agree that this is their strategy, but I do agree that could be what they are on their way to stumbling across

Word was they thoroughly disliked them and totally didn't trust them an inch.
We might not trust the council either, but cannot argue with that lack of trust stance at all from them towards our lovely, cuddly owners.
Council's mind was already made up at the time.
Agreed. No intention to sell to SISU, fine. Don't think anyone objected or had a problem with that. Don't sell it to Wasps though.
Trust the council? The same council who found Reeves of no wrongdoing regarding the rugby tickets. You're right we don't trust them.
This is the problem as fans and a club we have, we can't trust anyone and have no one to help us.
Agreed.
I do understand the council selling to Wasps, as wrong as it seems to us.
Looks like it might be a good piece of business for 'the city of Coventry' even though morally wrong and bad news for the City and Cov.
Great for them to have Premiership rugby on their doorstep and I am sure they feel it ups the city's profile, but it is still terrible for us.
Wasps associated with the city of Coventry though. That's what they want and stuff like the Rugby League internationals and big rugby games here. It's wrong, in part because of what they said when we moved. Does it not now appear CCC were saying those things so to appeal to CCFC fans to get them on side? For the blame to be put on SISU. If they didn't agree with teams moving, they would of rejected Wasps advances? Despite the animosity between SISU and CCC.
A good piece of business for the city, I suppose yeah. At what cost to CCFC and CRFC? Have they upped the cities profile? Debateable.
Premiership rugby, which could of been found at Leicester, Northampton or Worcester. We are informed after all the rugby fans are coming from all round the Midlands to watch as they don't mind travelling.

Lack of pens and crayons?Indeed, nail on the head, mate. I've seen it for a long time, this 'Operation Parasite'.
What SISU don't seem to realise, is that at the latter part of their plan they'll have great difficulty drawing 3000 fans.
Lack of pens and crayons?
I am just awaiting the final outcome, some cunts going to loose no doubt

That ups the profile, rightly or wrongly.
