Also talk of a train station to service the uni.Would this help?? A46 Strategic Link Road – Warwickshire County Council
Is this what you're thinking of?I’m sure I read somewhere that Warwick Uni to the City Center was likely to be one of the
two ‘first lines completed of the driver-less tram system they’r supposedly planning.
The other one being City Center to University Hospita.
Snowflake is that you ?I'm back with a bang, new stadium confirmed and no Ricoh return.
'Owning our own stadium is still Plan A, and we are progressing well in shortlisting potential sites.'Hopefully there will be some long term information on top of whatever is happening in the short term.
Owning the Ricoh is plan A'Owning our own stadium is still Plan A, and we are progressing well in shortlisting potential sites.'
'A long term deal at the Ricoh is our priority, and we intend to make it happen.'
'We have engaged a crack team of stadium experts to parachute in and take over the Ricoh by force, if we have to!'

Six years ago a crack stadium advisory group was convened by SISU to discuss a ground that didn't exist. This stadium idea promptly went underground. Today, still discussed by SISU, the group survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have planning issues, if nobody else can help, then maybe you can hire the Stadium Advisory Group. It does feel like that
No it was this one.Is this what you're thinking of?

Suspect that's another project where a politician, in this case WM Mayor Andy Street, makes a big announcement only for it never to be heard of again.
Good to see WMCA and CCC talk to each other to make sure they aren't both working on the same thing!!!
I never went anywhere, you don't stop supporting a side just cos you don't go as often as you did! I think I'm allowed to after 200+ games.PS - welcome back. Change your name to PremierLeagueHereWeCome.

With the news that the UK Gigafactory will be built in Wales, and after having put all their eggs in one basket (yet again) the Council might know of a large area of land (the St Athan factory will apparently measure 1km by 500m) that has suddenly become available.
I have no idea where the area is...my guesses would be either Ansty, or area around the airport. Sadly the report just said that the decision came down to a choice between Coventry and St Athan.Sorry bud, what area is that?

Ive said before, that in my opinion if there were to be a new stadium (very unlikely) then the area on the Baginton side of the A45 that was going to be offices for JLR (Gateway North) would be a good location
Sorry I can’t be much help

Hang on a minute!
Will be more than one giga factory in uk; Tesla looking in Somerset plus area near JLR EMC also mooted for one. Bagington also likely with WMG battery center under development.
No inside knowledge but my expectation has always been we will see out St Andrews deal; Wasps will be in far weaker position then. Bizarrely Covid will potentially bring financial prudence to Football; given every govt targets slips I’m still expecting crowds 2021.
I'm back with a bang, new stadium confirmed and no Ricoh return.
Guess who's wrong?OP might as well of said they've agreed a new site just through the wardrobe in Narnia.
Wasps will be going ‘oh shit’ another revenue stream slipping awayWasps and CCC be like...
Hopefully not the no deal at Ricoh stuff
Guess whos wrongDavid's wrong
