Not sure where I'd stand on it. I'm not going to Northampton because it defeats the object of supporting the nearest team but obviously a Wembley trip doesn't fall into that rationale. I'd feel a bit of a cheat going to nothing whatsoever and then sidling in for the glory though, it's a bit John Terry. I'd leave it alone I reckon.

Semis at Sixfields, no way. Final at Wembley, yes. The important thing to me would be that Wembley is where that game is meant to be played.

Of course we'd all be at Wembley. Anyone who says they wouldn't go are telling porkies imo.

I thought Wembley was a neutral ground?

in fairness, so far only one idiot ive heard shouting direct abuse, most people on the hill are decent towards those going in and vice versa/.the argument is against sisu not the fans .my argument goes a lot further back and its the council the league and the thieving scum who took this club apart.dont get me wrong sisu should have been on their bike years ago,but folk moaning then were still filling their coffers with season ticket money,im sorry to those protesting ,id love to some how join you but for 90 mins every other week the need to just support the lads on the pitch is much greater to me .

Don't be sorry. You support CCFC so go and support them, you don't need to apologise to anyone.

Hang on. Get your facts right.

I said that "anyone who says they are glad we are playing in Northampton DESERVES a slap".

I didn't threaten violence - or say that the people entering Sixfields are glad we are there.

So what exactly are you on?

What am I on, nothing, just your case for threatening violence, and not forgetting your wish that Sixfields burns down.

In light of this it seems you are on something or if not you need to be, or are you just being an arsehole on purpose?

Try to refrain from swearing, it makes you look incapable of intelligent debate.

SISU have taken our club hostage. That is the best way to sum it up.

They won't give it back until the get their ransom - a stadium for which they didn't contribute a penny of its construction.

Maybe SISU didn't but the club gave up it's home which cherished by all for it.

Ok that's enough. I have proven that I didn't threaten any violence and yet you are still continuing. You really aren't very bright.

I don't get going to Northampton to protest about going to Northampton.

Why not protest outside the Ricoh? Is it because you can't see the game from there?

What a ridiculous comment.

A. Its not so much the 30 mile travel that's the issue as so much that a club has been ripped from its home and community.

B. What would be the point of protesting outside an empty stadium, that would have zero impact.

I would hazard a lot brighter than you.

You come on spouting the most unbelievable childish drivel about wanting Sixfields to burn down and people deserving a slap, and when someone points out you have been a dick, you get all outraged like Little Lord Fauntleroy.
My twelve year old son acts more mature than you, so you go cry now Rich, and remember dont give it if you cant take it

The NOPM campaign for cup-ties doesn't really work. For league games it's okay as receipts at home are ours or should I say SISUs but for cup-ties receipts are shared so sisu get money come what may. I just hope we get someone like Torquay or Southend at home think we would struggle to get a 1000 gate for them. What I definitely don't want is a big gun away like Arsenal or Manchester United as glamourous as that would be it would put over half a million atleast in Joy's back pocket.

Well we are only left to play in the FA Cup and as shite as Man United have been this season they still won't be entering in the First Round. We could be out by the third round when all the Championship and Premier League teams come in, if not I'd hope for a big game away.

If we got a big cup game at home, I wouldn't put it past Fisher to ask for it to be played away so we get more money.

Oh Gosh I am so very scared that you have taken exception. I hope you dont say I deserve a slap for having a mind on my own.

Still dont be too hard on yourself Rich, you were just selective with the truth, not outright lying.

If you are so unhappy why dont you write to your MP that a naughty man called Moff is being nasty to you on a forum, and that you are outraged.
No f*ck it send a letter in to the Daily Mail, they normally publish letters from outraged people like you

If we did get to a play off final at Wembley I would be their like a shot however it would be the only game I attend this season. Also and more to the point if it happened and we were promoted but still at Northampton the following season, I again would not attend any match, home, away or cups etc. I was too young for the FA Cup in 87 and thus if you think I am going to miss an opportunity to watch CCFC at Wembley regardless of this season, you must be having a laugh, its the least I/we deserve for the shit we have had to endure over the last 10 or so years.

,I know I don't have to ,but I feell I do out of respect .the fact of taking ccfc out of Coventry is an insult to everyone ,its more then the wrangling over rent and other things,.this however has been going on long before sisu wer on the scene .the council ,the league, and all the thieving scum have a lot to answer for .but as ive said ,for them 90 mins the lads need our support.im not only a ccfc fan ,im a fan of good entertaining football, and this team are delivering,.

The boycott will make no difference at all with a tiny stadium like Sixfields

If you want the team back at the Ricoh, the best way is for the team to win promotion to the Championship!!!

Back to the thread - It is possible to achieve the playoffs - I would not rule anything out.
Only 4 goals conceded in the last four games, Jordan is settling into his new role at CB.

its a bit early to predict that we will be in the playoffs at the end of the season.

however, if we do make it i would suggest that based on current performances i don't think any other team will want to meet us in the semi's

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here! It'll be hard to keep enthusiasm under control if this run of form continues. Realistically, we have a small squad with more inexperienced players that those with. We're out of two cup competitions & that will help.

Promotion is where every game is treated as a playoff game until the FL say 'Welcome back to The Championship, Coventry City."

We are one quarter of the way through the season, and we have caught up only 2 points on the side that is bottom of the play-off zone (there was a 10 point gap at the start of the season, and now there is an 8 point gap). We have to improve our results if we are to make up the remaining 8 points over the last 33 games. Has any club ever taken a 10 point penalty and been promoted in the same season? It's a huge ask. Sure, it's possible to catch the clubs at the bottom who are generally losing every game. But catching the teams at the top who are winning is a very different question.

Mr Trench yes Leeds finished 5th after a 10 pt deduction.

Won again today lifting themselves out of the relegation zone and putting Sheffield United in it.

I backed Coventry at 50/1 to get promoted after they played us in the League Cup.

I fear they may have to big a mountain to climb- but they are giving it a good go.

After Tuesday night;

same guy;
After watching them last night I am already planning on what to spend my winnings on next year.

At least someone has faith!!!
