I would like to know as a member of the trust how you can put a policy motion in that will be discussed at one of the upcoming meetings? Does it require a number of other members to support the motion?
Can a motion be suggested on line and then this can be confirmed by the board the meeting date that this will then be discussed? How can it be made to be discussed?
Then can someone please explain the process for approval of the motion? Is this a ballot of all members of restricted to those who end the meeting at which the motion is discussed?
The Trust Secretary, whoever that is, should be able to answer these questions. Easier than having to plough through the Trust's standing orders.
Edit: Roger Ellis is Secretary, according to their web-site.
Then fucking ask him rather than coming on here acting the twat. Then you can come back on here with the answer can't youMr Ellis does not use this forum - he is very active on Twitter however.

Just how many people can you get in your head? You know as well as I do that motions must be moved exclusively by members of the echo chamber.

Have you tried emailing the Trust and asking them? Or messaged CJ on here?
The trust will be busy, Grendel will be looking to criticise the council/wasps - weirdly, The Trust are always busy when this happens.Have you tried emailing the Trust and asking them? Or messaged CJ on here?
As it goes - aren’t they due a statement defending the council and Wasps
Well as I’ve messaged on here I’d assume he will see it. I’ll put twitter message to roger so we can see what the response is.
Doubt they'll have time, hear AC and Inter have called them in to cost the San Siro replacement. As it goes - aren’t they due a statement defending the council and Wasps
Grendel wasn't joking, unless you're one of the handful of people who can turn up to a meeting in a pub on a Monday night you don't get a say.The members may by a resolution carried by not less than two-thirds of the members voting at a general meeting
I'm not you're the one who said he's on twitter I'm not you obviously are so contact him. I haven't talked to anyone from the trust for ages. Haven't been to meetings but already told you I'm going to the next one to call various people out.How do I contact roger? Why are you so defensive?
Same reply to you as I've just given to Grendel.Must defend the Trust. Must defend the Trust. Must defend the Trust...
Surely that's classed as fair comment? Can't help you Grendel, I got banned on Twitter for calling LiesReid a twat...
yesSo can we all join the Trust, vote them out, then it could do what the original intention was (or should've been)
You coming to the next one?Grendel wasn't joking, unless you're one of the handful of people who can turn up to a meeting in a pub on a Monday night you don't get a say.
It would be nice if their website actually made it easy to find when their next meeting is...Last AGM was 16 July, so need to crack on
You coming to the next one?

Excellent. From memory that's about when they start, so assuming you're in Coventry, there ought to at least be plenty of time left in a meeting by the time you get there.
Well franbkly I'm not that bothered about your motionWhat’s the point if the motion is not approved for discussion
If you are in a union are you allowed to vote without going to a social club?
Well franbkly I'm not that bothered about your motionIf it coincides with me, great, but if not there'll be an AOB where I can give my view as to their support (or lack of) for certain Wasps protests, and how it's imperative they do more (and better!) going forward.
It seems I won't be alone in that view, either.
