I don't think it's actually that difficult, or costly to turn a team from a 16/17/18th place team to one challenging for promotion in this league. It's more about the manager.
Preston done the same, were awful under Westley a few years back and have now been challenging for automatic two years running under Grayson
I think most of us agree that Mowbray is a good manager and we know he wants to attack. If he cane make a few really clever signings I would expect us to be up there challenging at the other end of the table.

Blackpool are a basket case.
Wigan are shit now and will be even weaker after costs are cut again next season.
Millwall will always pick up wins at the Den, especially in a shockingly shit division like league one.
Next season a highlight for me will be
A relatively local game against Burton Albion in a brewery town with a decent sized away end including standing terrace behind the goal.
One of my fave away games, great pubs around London Bridge then only 1 stop on the train direct to the ground.Just a quick side question, anyone been to Millwall away?
Is it okay or...?
Burton is one of only 7 grounds I have not been to do hope we stay up as like to go to that one.
be good to get Blackpool away as an early season game, or if not last game of season.

Blackpool away on a Tuesday night in January then?
next season we MUST have a promotion run
no points deductions or inept management on the horizen...for now

Never been to Millwall, and like others have said, London games always make for a decent day out. Been to Blackpool so not fussed about that, and Wigan may be an option is it falls right for me. As for how they will do - well, I will give it some thought if we stay up and after the summer when we see waht state our club is in.
It's all about TM staying isn't it? His ability at this level when he has had an off season to get to grips with it is reason enough for some genuine optimism. He stays I believe we will go up.
I called for Simon Grayson a while back before he went to Preston and said he would take them up this year before a ball was kicked. I feel the same about TM if he stays.
i dunno. they might have that bounce back momentum. they know how to do well in l1 clearly
either way i dont fear anyone next year.
