Around £800,000 by my reckoning do you think part of that saving will be handed to Mark Robins to strengthen the squad in January, spending lets say half £400k would in my opinion secure a play-off spot atleast, afterall we have been constantly told by Mr.Waggott and Mr.Fisher that there's a new approach from our owners and personal hands on interest from Ms. Sepella
bottom line is we need to lose players wages - and a lot of them - but we can't cos they are on contracts and nobody else will want them at the same wage
Want to blame someone - blame the players on stupidly high wages that don't even feature anymore
You cant really blame the players for accepting stupidly high wages or long contracts - lets face it, we all would....blame the guy(s) who negotiated the contracts
Hats off the kilbane though.
Which players we talking about? Elliot ? Bell?Who else?
Yes fair play to kilbane....we may not have rated his footballing ability, but he is actually a top bloke...IIRC, he's apparently donating his autobiography proceeds to charity :claping hands:
His daughter has Down's Syndrome...all the proceeds of his autobiography are going to the Down's Syndrome AssociationYep, that £2.50 will save a childs sight in Africa.
Hats off the kilbane though.

Fisher said that money should be going on the pitch, he wouldn't lie.
Hussey is on less than 5k per month and Malaga on 8k
Think he has a disabled kid like carsley actually. But you weren't to know
Frank Moussa is already ours. I think he had a short-term deal. It's up to MR to extend that. I hope he does, after an indifferent start, he's excellent for the last month or so.
It's very good that it's going to charity, especuially given his personal circumstances.
Still don't think that much of a market for his autobiography though, nobody buys biographies unless it's a comedian nowadays sadly.
I think a lot 0th Everton and Ireland fans would buy it?
No chance! we're not gaining anything just a little less expenditure! main priorities this month should be securing Frank Moussa, James Bailiey and doing the best the club can do to sign Mcgoldrick.
