Leo has changed his Insta bio back to Brighton rather than Cov now. Can’t see it happening and think he will be a part of Brighton squad next season. Ideally I think we need 2 CB’s (1 being left footed), 1 LB and 1 Defensive Midfielder

I would take being 10 points Bette roff thab last season but you got to dream of a promotion push. We did well agaib st all the teams last year pretty much.

Yeah, James is a massive loss imo, in his time here he was a class above what we had and still have.

I kind of understand where you're coming from. Last season we played good football, didn't concede many goals per game and just lacked Goals.
Hopefully with the additions we've made we will see some goals and be pushing for a decent spot.

I'm similar to SeaSeeEffCee, I don't think we've made huge improvements as it stands. Some quality has improved but as it stands if we repeat last year it will be a success.

Exactly. And last season how many times did we shoot ourselves in the foot defensively, whether a rubbish penalty or continuing to play kamikaze out from the back. We got more streetwise towards the end of the season and no coincidence our results and form improved dramatically.
LB, CB and in an ideal world a DM to replace James. But I don't think the world is very ideal at the moment for a lot of clubs so wouldn't be surprised if we just get the LB and CB.

Don't know why I feel so pessimistic but I don't think we'll get Osti and I think we will be on the fringes of the relegation zone but probably just safe enough to take away the worry / excitement of a relegation battle.
I am looking forward to being back at the ricoh and hopefully some decent away followings creating a bit more of an atmosphere than the league 1/2 years.

Until Brighton decide on their squad no one knows including him. Brighton is his first choice....but it will be a late decision where he ends up?
I think he is a target with a couple of potential loans pencilled in as back up.

Top 6 is ridiculous - as others say our midfield and defence is weaker than last season, and the other discernible improvements are Moore, Waghorn, Bright and Jones - and only Waghorn is proven at this level, and the latter two have serious question marks over them.
Hopefully we sort the defence out, Dabo and Rose make a big difference as has been said and we can get closer to mid-table, which has to be the aim.

Our defense, which was already one of the worst in the league, is dramatically worse as it stands
Our midfield is also objectively worse without James and no new reinforcements
Our goalkeeping situation could even be worse for all we know, but I promise I'm not being pessimistic
