BRISTOL CITY are worse than us...letting in loads of goals so we should finish above them on goal differance...just need 2 more teams to put together a (long) run of poor form and we might stay up....keep the faith

I said the exact same thing yesterday, I can see us losing EVERY game, we arne't making enough going forward and teams are gonna break us down for 80 minutes and nick a goal, a lot of 0-1 scorlines this season me thinks

Thing is I can see teams like Bristol City start clicking and pick up a run of results. I dont feel like we are going to be able to all season if we dont improve our forward options before the close of the window.

I know his post was a bit too much doom and gloom but we haven't got anything to be cheerful and optimistic about have we? Most likely going to sell our best players before the end of the transfer window and we're not going to bring anyone in

Tbh we've played 2 of the best teams in the league. Bury was indefensible - but then it was a bad performance by the entire team which we can mark off as a blip.
Birmingham were outclassed and we did well against Leicester until the second half. We've actually created chances too, so who says we won't click at some point?
Leicester didn't get to 3 points until 8 games into the season last year... They didn't do too bad if I remember rightly!

I've just put £10 on it. Only got odds of 3/1 though! Bookie said that he has more fear of paying out over Elvis appearing than Coventry winning a game!

Seriously though, the odds must be worth a look. Using an average of odds of 1/2 for a loss. Over the next 44 games that would give odds of 55977744/1.
If you put a £2 bet on that then you could buy the club and get us promoted!

Probably, I was just making a point. What really grates on me are fans that are having none of it that we've lost let's face it our 3 best players in King, Gunnar and Westy, only replaced Westwood, possibly going to lose the likes of Juke, Clingan, I think I read Keogh being bounded about today and none of them are being replaced, me being a realist says it's fucking disgraceful to expect us fans to support a team where people at the top obviously don't give a shit and are more interested in recouping there losses than us fans and our team, yet some fans ahem* Perryccfc continue to look at things through skyblue tinted glasses and honestly beleive in there heart of hearts that people that couldn't make our first team last year ie. lets face it, in previous seasons we have had dross but we had dross in depth! We now still have dross but absolutely no backup at all, we are going to be like Portsmouth where we cannot field a stable team. The first year i have thought that relegation is on the cards since coming down to this damned league.

If we had been outplayed by Fester and Brum then I would agree that we are in trouble. We have played two of the strongest teams in this division in the first two games and lost 1-0 each game. If we had won the first two games against the weakest two teams would that mean we would get promoted as champions? At least we know we have a manager that knows how to organise his team to play against our opponents and gets the best out of his players. A couple of wins now would have us fly up the table.
