Hi guys,

just looking for some advice really. I have a 32" LG 32LD450 and also have my PS3 connected up to it. I would like to get a surround sound bar for it, as my room is only a box room!

Been hunting around and to be honest im not really too sure what im looking for.

Recently visited my local PC World/Currys and spotted this:

SAMSUNG HW-D450 2.1Ch Soundbar buy online | Currys

I have found it cheaper elsewhere, but all i want is peoples opinions on which would be the best to buy.

I have also looked at:

PHILIPS Sound bar - HTS5110/12 Home Cinema System: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

and

LG HLS36W Home Cinema System - Speaker Bar System - LG Electronics UK

Roughly i want to spend no more than £300 if i can help it.

I am open to people suggesting other ones, if they know something better.

Like i said earlier, i am in a box room currently, however, i am due to move out soon and will be having the television in the living room. Not too sure how big the living is yet, but if anything i want to sound good when its all set up in the living room rather than my current bedroom. (I am willing to wait until i move out to purchase one)

I know there are some tech brains out there, that are willing to help me :)

I apologise for the mobile site for the Samsung one.

Opinions would be valued :)

If you're spending that amount of money, have a look at Richer Sounds on the web and look in their clearance / ex display, you can get a decent system there which is well worth the money.

I'd always go for 5:1 or 7:1 over a sound bar, if it's a small room, get small speakers. With a decent £300 setup you will have it for many years whichever room you move it to.
