Their home form isn't too bad though, looked at their results and don't think they've lost many recently at home.
If we want to go up automatically we should be beating the team that has accumulated the fewest points in the league. The important thing is not to be complacent and think it’ll be a walkover.I don't like this "we should be beating" -insert team- bollocks, Bolton away springs to mind when we came unstuck (albeit with very questionable offside decisions against us).
I'm glad the players and Robin's don't have this mindset.
You've just typed/said it again...If we want to go up automatically we should be beating the team that has accumulated the fewest points in the league.
This is what I agree with though. The important thing is not to be complacent and think it’ll be a walkover.
I’m sure Robins will prepare the team just as thoroughly for Southend away, as he will for Rotherham at ‘home’. We can’t be complacent for any game, no matter the opponent.
And we know he wants a yellow against RotherhamYeah yellow sat and a yellow against Rochdale means he would miss Rotherham
Long trip to Southend,, want them nice and fresh for this one, sounds like the weather is going to be crap, does the team go down on the Fridays for these long trips and stay over ?
This. Hope they make a decision on Friday, as we're setting off at 8.30am. Really looking forward to the day, but if I'm honest, i'd rather the game was called off if there are going to be 40-50mph winds, as that can only hinder us. Sooner play them when the weather has zero effect on the result, as then we will beat them.
Not next Tuesday are we?One thing that may come into play, they are playing on Tuesday too, so they will have to be savvy with their squad. That will be 3rd game in 7 days.

Unbeaten in 4 at home which includes a draw with Rotherham

You really do know your soccer!I’m sure Robins will prepare the team just as thoroughly for Southend away, as he will for Rotherham at ‘home’. We can’t be complacent for any game, no matter the opponent.
I'm taking your weather predictions a with a pinch of salt mate.
You posted on Tuesday the Roost was empty and by the time I got there they were queueing outside and it was 1 in 1 out!
Ah oopsThey, as in Southend, not us.
Marosi to score? If the game goes ahead in strong winds, and if it is blowing from end to end, I would be tempted to go 2 up front when the wind is behind us - but am sure MR/AV can work it out for themselves.
When it gets to this stage at work you know its near the end Southend boss Sol Campbell left frustrated ahead of Coventry game
Unless the forecasts change, I can't see the game going ahead and adding more to our backlog of fixtures. But a weekend off for the lads could be seen as either a welcome break to aid recovery or a chance to loose the momentum we've already got going.

I'm sure if we ask Southend nicely they will let us announce our team after we know which way we will be kicking. If the game goes ahead in strong winds, and if it is blowing from end to end, I would be tempted to go 2 up front when the wind is behind us - but am sure MR/AV can work it out for themselves.
Last weekend the worst of the weather was on the Sunday, not the Saturday. Man City v West Ham gpt postponed with fans safety cited. Our game could be same same given that they have said the winds are going to be worse on the coast. The weather isn't forecast to be as bad as last weekend. I'd be surprised if this is postponed when last week went ahead.
Storm Dennis is going to be a menace over the weekend.Team news in.
Storm Dennis will make his debut on Saturday with rain and 50mph winds.
Not going to be easy weather conditions again.
We’re trying to save one until Sunderland have played their last gameWhy don't we have a game next week
Surely we could have got one of our games in hand played
He sounds like Shaggy! "It Was'nt me"When it gets to this stage at work you know its near the end Southend boss Sol Campbell left frustrated ahead of Coventry game
