Not even sure why he'd be scouting as any players playing for their current club would surely be 'wanted' by that club, or command a transfer fee would they not?

Unless they're coming out of contract then we won't be able to get them til pre season

He's probably acting as a go between for Winkie and MGI...passing on tips and mutual support between the two ''sports franchises''.

He might even be asked if Winkie can expect 7,000 ticket sales from CCFC fans who don't like their own team being even temporarily franchised to Northampton and wish to protest by watching sports franchises elsewhere.
