Over 140 years down the line with historical minimal ST uptake would suggest otherwise. So? Without season ticket holders we don’t have a club
Players might need a rest AFTER playing the derby. The Derby is before our game
Why should a person that gets a discounted price ticket also get a free kids ticket for a game that should generate a lot of interest? To be fair, while I don’t think the ST price is too far out of what I expected, the kid price seems unreasonable high. We could of easily won some good grace and said kid ST go free when a adult ticket ST is bought.
Worried to be fair over how much fans get rinised these days over the kits, tickets and even price of food in stadiums.
Don’t think this will change here unless we adopt the 49% - 51% split in football as can’t expect fans to give up on it. Just due to how important football clubs are to people
They get rewarded by getting every league game at a much reduced price to a matchday ticket. They deserve rewards as they are the premium supporters - it’s bizarre anyone would deny them a discounted price and resent that
So this is only my opinion. My first Cov match was vs Chelsea. It was a huge name and got my dad to take us since he was out of sorts with it.Why should a person that gets a discounted price ticket also get a free kids ticket for a game that should generate a lot of interest?
When I don't have an issue, I don't post. You keep responding to people which is a pretty strong sign you've got a point to make, and the issue people have was with U18s prices unless someone can show me otherwise.
You only post on the forum when you have an issue with something? Weird approach.
But you said a kids ST should go free if an adult ST is bought. So these kids are already going as they have ST's and have the chance to get hooked. So this is only my opinion. My first Cov match was vs Chelsea. It was a huge name and got my dad to take us since he was out of sorts with it.
Since then I was hooked on it and haven’t stopped coming up even though my dad has.
My argument is simple, we need to get new fans hooked and this is a great opportunity to build on the future, earn some good will and would be a relatively small amount.
Understand the question though and I’m am arguing purely out of an emotional pov but the kids price is way to high for this fixture full stop imo.

If you're arguing it will make some new fans because of the name then that should be non kids ST holders get a free ticket.
I've said for a while I think Dk is massively overcharging with kids prices and he's putting short term revenue ahead of long term strategy. But for a game like this which should generate a huge amount of interest locally I don't see the commercial sense of offering cheaper tickets to those that already go regularly.
The reward for loyalty is getting first dibs on tickets.A reward for loyalty
I mean you’ve admitted you aren’t going as the “nights are drawing in” fuck me
The reward for loyalty is getting first dibs on tickets.
Why does it have to be more than that? It is a reward for your loyalty. Why does it just have to be that?
Thats a given anyway.
Why does it have to be more than that? It is a reward for your loyalty.
I'm just making the argument about the commerical sense of doing so. I'm not going to start firing e-mails off to the cluub to complain or stand outside the stadium with a placard FFS.What I genuinely don’t understand is why it bothers you.
It’s a given to have that.
I get your point of view on this and to be fair maybe we should be offering cheaper discounts on kids tickets as a whole instead of ST.But you said a kids ST should go free if an adult ST is bought. So these kids are already going as they have ST's and have the chance to get hooked.

Maybe because it’s in the club’s interest to retain this very high ST income without having to just rely on the on pitch product to do so. Which given our failure to strengthen midfield seems prudentI'm just making the argument about the commerical sense of doing so. I'm not going to start firing e-mails off to the cluub to complain or stand outside the stadium with a placard FFS.
I don't get why you think you should be entitled to more. Even the first dibs isn't a 'given'. It's not written into the agreement that you will get preferential treatment for tickets to other games. It's a courtesy. The agreement with a ST is that you will be given entry to all league games - that's it.
To be fair you’re just arguing your point of view on this. If we all agreed what would be the point of being on here.I'm just making the argument about the commerical sense of doing so. I'm not going to start firing e-mails off to the cluub to complain or stand outside the stadium with a placard FFS.

The only thing they have to do is get a successful team on the pitch. New fans will come to be part of it.So this is only my opinion. My first Cov match was vs Chelsea. It was a huge name and got my dad to take us since he was out of sorts with it.

I mean kinda, being successful makes more of these moments like the FA Cup run, like the play off runs which in turn draw more people into these events, which in turn because it’s a high atmosphere makes people want to come back for more. The only thing they have to do is get a successful team on the pitch. New fans will come to be part of it.
I could do it during the daytimeWell we know you want be standing outside with a placard as the nights are drawing in - might be scary out there
Doug king is unfair! Doug King is in there! Standing at the concession! Plotting his oppression!

You're achieving Grendel levels of deflection here. I'll give you that one, though. Worded my post badly and you've pounced on it. Do you think kids tickets are fairly priced for this game?
The only thing they have to do is get a successful team on the pitch. New fans will come to be part of it.
It kind of proves my point doesn't it.And they already have. Look at the increasing attendances and ST numbers over the last five years.
Not sure how practical it is for you to do so but go and see the nice people in the ticket officeTicketmaster, ticket fucking cunting wanking fucking spunking twatting master. 2 tickets, all I fucking want is 2 tickets, but not in my regular seat, so there has to a fucking drama!!

They'll help if they possibly can
Shouldn't be an issue should it, they were only st s for two days?Ticketmaster, ticket fucking cunting wanking fucking spunking twatting master. 2 tickets, all I fucking want is 2 tickets, but not in my regular seat, so there has to a fucking drama!!

You can get prison time for statements like that,Going to go up tomorrow mate.
After I've fire bombed ticketmaster headquarters.
When do tickets go on general sale? That’s probably the problem.Won't let me buy any, saying I dont have the right.
Had trouble buying for Stoke and now these, it's pathetic.
