There will be mind, they get knocked for not winning a lot in recent years but it's a big football clubWhy though ? Not many spurs fans around coventry
Correct but its "around" Coventry" like you said.Ah yes sorry , I'm sure they will snap up the remaining 8000 tickets .
Ps : Leamington isn't coventry ,I'm sure the 3 fans in Walsgrave will bang up the numbers

I know 1 tottenham fan , rarely if ever see spurs shirts in cov eitherThere will be mind, they get knocked for not winning a lot in recent years but it's a big football club
Probs cause unlike our fanbase this summer not everyone raids the club shop the moment the new kit is releasedI know 1 tottenham fan , rarely if ever see spurs shirts in cov either
Hence why it will never go to general sale.I have been reading through this as a Spurs fan over the last few days.
Couple of points come to mind.
Most seem to think the game will not sell out. ( not sure)
Priced to high. ( Spurs fans paid the same away to Fulham in the 2nd round last year £30 although i agree £37 is too high)
Children's prices to high. ( totally agree)
Spurs allocation has sold out higher number of points than needed for Leicester on a Monday night a couple of weeks ago.
If game goes to general sale then Spurs fans will buy tickets in the home arears as most Spurs fans have not been to your stadium.

Where as if it was full to the brim we'd be called plastic and a load of day trippersWe will look tinpot. First premier league team here for over a decade (not counting stoke as we were L2) and we can't muster 20k? That's about as tinpot as it gets
Why though mate , we get good crowds now with the home end practically full v oxford and norwichWhere as if it was full to the brim we'd be called plastic and a load of day trippers
Those who want to slag us off, from the usual suspect clubs will regardless - not remotely arsed one bit
Traitorous fecksView attachment 38379
Supporters clubs in both Leamington and Rugby. Coach also picks up from the Hilton in Walsgrave most games.
Cause one flick through social media and you'd think the ground was still half empty every week - Mud sticksWhy though mate , we get good crowds now with the home end practically full v oxford and norwich
I agree with thatCause one flick through social media and you'd think the ground was still half empty every week - Mud sticks
I saw a Birmingham fan un-ironically call us plastic regardless of the fact before the Brady Bunch took them over they consistently failed to come close to selling out a half functioning and open stadiumI agree with that
Thats you though mate, many of the types that will want to come to this are the sort who came to some of the Wembley appearances.I don't agree , I go everywhere and had to put this match on my credit card because I've just paid out on school shit , people can't afford it ontop of league matches etc
Hence why it will never go to general sale.
I know, it's really weird. Who cares what other fans think of us as fans/our club/our ground/our players/our kit/our transport links/our parking facilities...?
Thats not General sale then as you still need to be a member. It will, but to anyone with an account like Wembley.
There's problem 100,000 people with an active account.
Unless they have brought from the club before the draw was made then they won't be able to buy ticketsI have been reading through this as a Spurs fan over the last few days.

They can still drop the 200 points requirement if they want another load through the door - I think it’s fair enough to give points holders the pick of seats for now though. If there are a few thousand seats remaining it’ll be interesting to see if they hold off on a general sale as the demand will always be there for a Prem team.

Who can actually buy a ticket at the time of writing? I brought my ST seat on Saturday so I haven't really been following it that much
I think it will end up being mid 20,000s thenAny supporter with 200+ points
I think it will end up being mid 20,000s then
Bet he regrets not giving Spurs the whole end and having a guaranteed 6k paying 37 quid
You don't, you just need previous purchase history. Most people in Coventry will have that.
I'd be surprised if we have 500 people on 200+ points. Most people who go regularly now have season tickets. Those of that can't (live 100+ miles away etc) - can't get most away tickets & only starting putting the supporter numbers on home ticket purchases last year!.They 100% will.
I imagine they'd sell out even with it. We probably have 30,000 people on 200 points.

You'll struggle with that. There were 4000 Leeds fans in the home end last season so they put a stop to it.I have been reading through this as a Spurs fan over the last few days.

Competing for money is my argument, that's all nothing about brand loyalty or anything like that, and there will be some hedging there bets, to deny that is well, ignorant? How many City supporters do you think will prioritise an England women’s game over City v Tottenham in a cup game?
Of all the excuses I’ve heard for a lower than expected attendance this one is way out on top. Ffs.
we give everyone about that, why should we give anyone more?Coventry could have given Spurs more tickets, maybe 5000, i know you have moved the away end and you only need to allocate 5% for the league Cup, but i guess you can allocate more if required ie for the FA Cup. Too late now, your chairman must have been convinced he could sell out at these prices.
Anyway i have been allocated a ticket from Spurs and look forward to visiting your stadium, having been to Highfield Road and drinking in the Mercers Arms many times.
Sorry - I think we have about 21K season ticket holders.ST holders are included in that 200+ points club.
