also, the chances of Delf leaving Villa for us is the same as a return to the Ricoh.

fair enough, but would he come to us? and have we seen enough for us to want him here permanently?

his wages at villa must surely be 20k per week? at least?

Dunno, I can't see him attracting many top championship clubs. Certainly none who will even offer him anything close to that

we have 12 games left. 8 goals in that time will secure him a contract with a decent club

is there a list of contract expiry's?

Think this is still accurate [edit: put my predictions for next season in brackets]:

Murphy - 2014 [gone]
Christie - 2014 [gone]
Burge - 2014
Moussa - 2014 [gone]
Garner - 2014
Maund - 2014
Gott - 2014
Rankin - 2014
Marshall - 2014

Adams - 2015
Webster - 2015
Fleck - 2015
Baker - 2015
Barton - 2015 [gone]
Seaborne - 2015

Willis - 2015 (+1yr option)
Wilson - 2015 (+1yr option)
J Clarke - 2015 (+1yr option)

Daniels - 2016
C Thomas - 2016
Urquhart - 2016

Phillips - 2017
Haynes - 2017

I reckon we'll bring in 2 strikers and a GK.

8 goals? - I'll settle for 5. We've got some tough games after the next couple (and they'll be tricky enough):thinking about:

Out of Murphy, Christie and Moussa, I'd like to see Phillips replace Christie. Then hopefully that frees up a couple of grand a week that we can then offer Murphy and Moussa between them?

Highly unlikely though. Plus any player sales is irrelevant as we now only sign frees and loans.

(Now awaiting the "but loanees cost money and some frees do too" posters)

I'll settle for 1, has he scored yet? I just meant as a person tactic, you'd think he'd use this time to increase interest. Same with Akpom

Just looked at our last 5 fixtures and am not that keen on any of them. Oldham away and Swindon at home are the 'easiest' on paper. Therefore we have 7 games (6 if you 'write off' Brentford away) to secure enough points to secure a place in this league. Seriously. if we don't win 3 of our next 7 games, I think we will be relying on others to stay up. If Calum picks up a knock on the run in I'd be worried. On the plus side, if we win all our games I reckon we can sneak into the play offs :D

I could see a bigger club like Charlton taking him in the summer.

If bakers contracted to 2015 he's going nowhere.

Only based on Instinct but I think he'll go.

I get the feeling he's probably not singing from the same Hymn sheet and Is becoming peripheral ,he would'nt bring a fee but may save a couple of G's a week .

He also will be looking to try and get another couple of years on top of the one left with us as he's around 30 IIRC.

It's a shame as he's an admirable captain. Always chatting with fans on Facebook and seems a down to earth guy. The only thing that makes me think he'll stay is his kids are in Cov school and his Mrs has a beauty business that he promotes on Facebook

I doubt it would, that team would continue to leak goals like we have this season but has very little goalscoring ability. IMO that's relegation fodder.

Christie is gone, no doubt about that and tbh, I couldn't care less. We have Willis and Phillips who can easily fill that void. Murphy would be a massive loss. Releasing him cus he;s not young is stupid. He's not a kid anymore but you try and find a keeper in our league who can out perform him. Baker wont be leaving. I think Wilson will stay til January and see where we are before making a decision on his future. Can easily see Barton leaving. Shame really, seems to be getting better. Moussa will have offers from abroad and from the champ, so its unlikely he will stay unfortunately. Delfouneso will not be coming here full time, nor will Akpom, so whether we get in Kris Boyd or someone else, we need some changes. At least 2 strikers (NOT MORE FUCKING LOANS!), would love to see Petrasso come back permanantley to replace Moussa too

That back four is the one I would have now. With the addition of a new striker and New midfielder I think we can survive, just.

All depends on the outcome of the JR...no point speculating until after then

win the JR and SISU will go after lost revenues from the council ?

lose it and Otium will appeal ?

neither will have any effect on the team finances, as they will look to cut cloth accordingly, as attendances and income will continue to drop as we will still be playing in Northampton ?

That team has less physical presence than my Nan.

If that's our first choice next year, we're fucked (don't think it will be though).
