from the photos of the players in thier numbered training kit and from this link these would appear to be the squad numbers for next season, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coventry_City_F.C.
doesnt look like theres any room for a "franchise player"

Don't know whether it's just my laptop, but that link isn't watching. I have however, been watching a few interviews with AT, Harri and the lads from Portugal on Sky Blues Player. There do appear to have been a few changes, if the numbered kits they are wearing have any significance (highly probably that they may not though).
These are the changes I saw:

1 - Joe Murphy
3 - Chris Hussey
8 - Carl Baker
9 - Lukas Jutkiewicz
11 - Gary McSheffrey
21/31 - Conor Thomas

I did see in town recenlt someone wearing a Jukebox shirt with 11 on it!

I think the training kits are just that, and have little significance.

Following some banter on twitter, juke confirmed he is keeping his number 11 shirt. So don't thinking training kit numbers are significant

Whilst being smug could you try posting a link that works?

Why, which number is designated for franchise players?

Looks like he's changing:

Lukeyjuke Lukas Jutkiewicz

Hopefully the club will let people change their 11 to a 9 for free, #doubtful
