There will be more than a few clubs watching us today and no doubt taking a look at a few of our players with a view to signing them .
Good job we've got the majority on long deals these days

The "long deals" point is the most important, isn't it? We may find ourselves in a situation where a handful of our players receive bids from Premier League or abroad, but the club are going to want serious money. Another 15 mil+ for a player like Sheaf, Wright, MVE, etc, is going to provide serious reinvestment capital for a recruitment team who have shown they can find players. May hurt in the short term, but whilst we're at this level we're going to remain a selling club, albeit one which should continue to grow stronger.

The model we are using and have used for a few seasons is the most pragmatic approach for a club of our size . The steps we have made in such a short period of time is testament to it's success.
We will lose players again but they will go for a price that we determine and as has been shown replacements will be bought with the same long term planning
It's a great time to be a sky blue but there will still be highs and lows but we are heading in the right direction

Yes, it's a sustainable approach as long as you're making smart recruitment decisions, and you have to sell your improved players on for a profit unless you achieve the ultimate goal of promotion to the Premier League. But so what? We'll get to watch some fantastic talent develop through the club, and then they will leave and we have the excitement of watching new names come into the fold. It's the main reason I'm not too bothered about the fact O'hare is most likely leaving, it's been great but he will be replaced with more exciting talent.

We shouldn’t need such a turnover again. Sheaf and Saka have two years, everyone else of note three. I can’t see any player pushing to leave just because of the characters we sign, and Robins seems to want to keep players if possible to get us into the Prem. So unless ridiculous bids come in I can only see Sheaf going in the summer if he’s intimated he’s not going to re sign.

Next summer we’ll have two years left on most and one on Saka so could see a couple of MvE, Simms, Wright, Kitching, Thomas going if the interest is there and they don’t sign a new deal before.

Who saw Torp , MvE , Wright and Sakamoto joining us ?
Our recruitment team is casting this net across Europe and finding some real gems
Would love O'Hare to stay both for his footballing ability and his infectious nature within the squad but like you said he will be replaced

One of the huge positives of this season has been the virtual total lack of reliance on loans .
It's a massive positive knowing we can go into the summer retaining virtually the whole squad
