Martin Samuel in the Mail today has written a pretty nasty article disparaging ppg or anything similar
He uses Wycombe's game in hand to illustrate his case which is basically a knocking piece against the football authorities
Needless to say he doesn't come up with any alternatives
I used to enjoy his writing but like many journos he's become a nasty cynical bastard as he's got older
He has a very high opinion of himself
Which I don't share on any level

far to many egos and small brains to get an agreement
you only have to look at reasonings they give to see that
best Wycombe want to back to half way point - why because they are in free fall since then
Peterborough and fFleetwood Chairmen ( both are schools of Trump - bullies) dont to have an ounce of logic between them - but bet they would think different if in our position. no comment on Barton

best of the lot is SOUTHEND they are so far adrift but think not finishing the season should mean relegation cancelled

GET REAL AND ACCEPT AT THIS STAGE WE DESERVE IT

Clubs are acting in self-interest, which you really can’t blame.

Fleetwood probably could catch Rotherham up in the remaining games if we played on. Similarly, Posh had some ‘easy’ home games.

Weighted PPG and a promotion playoff is the fairest possible outcome if the season can’t be completed in these circumstances.

Lets just hope it's not a mini-league of the remaining contenders with all other results against other teams excluded. We would still have a decent chance but we would find ourselves playing catchup.

I don’t see how you ever get agreement it needs the league to stand up and say this is it as you can’t agree.
