Yet you only talk about Wasps the Council and our fans. Our fans are the only ones completely and utterly blamesless in this sorry affair yet you and few others have a pop at them. It’s either that not enough turn up or now not enough caused a riot over Wasps.

CCFC came back as part of Wasps taking over, I have no doubt about that. It was a stitch up. CCC acted out of spite, yet if I'm spiteful towards Wasps it means I hate CCFC fans. You're an idiot.

I have no interest in Wasps and do not blame them for our situation. Our owners created it they were in pole position the Council were asking them to bid. The council warned them they were going elsewhere. Our owners said they had no interest anymore as they were building a new stadium. The deadline past and we lost out. I couldn’t give a rats ass about Wasps and if ACL had been sold to an American Football team I wouldn’t give a rats ass about them either.
SISU were intentionally distressing ACL and it backfired. You may deny that but a judge looked at it all and that was his conclusion so you are wrong yet again.

SISU offered 2 million for Higgs’ share, something they maintain is worth nothing. They offered it because Higgs are a charity.
Wasps paid them 2.77 million plus the donations. Whatever way you spin it Higgs got more money from Wasps.
They are a charity so fairplay to them.

CCC acted out of spite selling a stadium management company to someone for more money than letting it rot and falling into the hands of the people who were distressing it for a lot less.
They acted out of spite getting a £14 million pound loan cleared by the alternative buyers. When the lot distressing ACL said they will not touch that loan.
They acted out of spite when they agreed a deal that meant the charity that were also getting distressed were going to get more money back than the alternative and future revenue.
They acted out of spite when they brought a top level rugby team to a stadium that at the time was empty in the city.

Come on Zack at least try and be sensible on your points.
Yes no doubt certain council members would have enjoyed giving one to SISU.
However without any shadow of a doubt if they hadn’t taken this deal they would have been in neglect of duty as a councillor

It's relevant because you mention 'regardless of who is at fault here'.
Therefore, whose fault is it that we find ourselves in Division 2 ? Which in reality is all we care about.

I think the wasps lovers are missing the point. For me it doesn't matter that it's at the Ricoh it's the fact they've moved away from their fan base. We all remember how we felt when we went to Northampton. How anyone could do that to another team and be okay with it is beyond me. I don't care if Wasps are brilliant for us (which they aren't) but what they did was wrong.

.... and it's now history so it's irrelevant to our future. We are powerless to move this on until Sisu go.
Rest assured once they give up, the club will move quickly forward and it 'will' be at the Ricoh.

Is that your opinion based on speaking to travelling Wasps fans because most of these fans seem to have accepted the reasonings and this is reflected in the Wasps bulletin boards and the quantity that travel ?

Well if you speak to travelling wasps fans obviously they are okay with it as they are there... No doubt wasps fans still on the bulletin boards are okay with it too as I wouldn't still be on here if we moved permanently elsewhere. Tbh on the forums at the time I could see far more fans gutted about it that accepting the reasoning. Deserted a fan base for financial benefit. Lovely reason and is going really well so far

It was also dependant on Yorkshire bank allowing SISU to buy out the loan at between £2-£5M (JR1)

They weren't going out of business and you know it. We could use that line to justify moving to Northampton as our rent was too high. I also knew you'd ignore the fact that 3000 people signed a petition against wasps moving. Thought they were all happy?

I find it difficult to comment on the football without being negative so I prefer to view others comments and like what I agree with.

Certainly doesn't stop me asking people questions on what getting rid of Wasps will achieve?
I'm not defending them I'm offering you the reasoning and possibly the solution.

I hope you have your pitch fork sharpened for each blaze home game. It’s also bizzare that lots of people say their hate of Wasps is purely about Wasps franchising. Yet the only time MK Dons get a mention is when we play them. Then some of those who want to stamp of the evil wasps pay money that goes to MK Dons. But don’t forget folks the hatred for Wasps is purely a moral issue about franchising. It’s nothing to do with that fact they are in our stadium and unfortunately running their club the way we should have been for years.

If they had got relegated that year they would have gone bust.
Wasps face administration and relegation from Premiership after deal to sell club collapses

We didn't move to Northampton because the rent was too high. The rent offer was lowered to the point of costs only although I will leave it to you to work out what leverage SISU hoped to achieve by pulling the plug on the Ricoh.

A lot of the petition was signed by City fans if you read some of the comments.

I think most have distain for Mk Dons but have you logged out of football for 10 years? Wimbledon have bounced back and have had a great time along the way. I know I was delighted when they beat mk Dons and jumped above them in the table. Obviously I hate the fact they're at the Ricoh too but if it was at Walsall, Nuneaton or even man Utd it would still be wrong and I would still be fully against it. How did you feel when we went to Northampton? You don't wish that on other clubs do you?

It could be CCFC, Northampton, Leicester, CRC, Worcester or anyone that could potentially loose.
Proof of the success is in the attendance surely?
If you are going to quote free tickets please say how many you think were given out in last weekends 26,000 crowd ?

This post relates to Wasps. Weeman mentioned them in his post. You keep trying the deflection away from wasps.
We can argue endlessly in other threads about why we are in Division Two. You can start another if you wish, but this one relates to Wasps.

Wimbledon was very wrong.
Wasps moving in my opinion is wrong. It’s was bizzare with Wasps there was definitely less kicking off about it than when Wimbledon moved.
In my opinion the Rugby authorities should ban franchising. However for some reason in Rugby it is allowed.
I have no interest in Wasps. I don’t check their scores. I have never gone and assume I never will.
I am not that fussed about Rugby but I do strangely enough check the CRFC score, especially with their fine form at the moment.
I just get why the council did what they did our owners were turning the screw and it was only going to go one way. Wasps gave them a lifeline and they took it, fulfilling a lot of their roles as councillors at the same time.

I thought you being away* might bring you some sense but I was sadly mistaken.
The ownership of the stadium we play in does have an affect on our future as at the moment whoever owns us we are hamstrung at the whim of the deal wasps offer us. Its very simple but you just cant grasp that fact. We will forever be at Wasps mercy.

Fair enough, but it does seem to be the prominent direction of discussion, so to try to bat Wasps out of it is probably doomed to failure, and on previous history it again looks like you are trying to divert anyone away from criticising Wasps, whether that is the case or not.

How do we ever own it? well change of Club ownership on our part, and Wasps moving on would certainly help this. I don't wish Wasps to go bust, I have no problem with them thriving, I just don't wish it to be in Coventry. I respect that because I feel that this doesn't mean it will ever happen.
If Wasps left, and with CCFC in new ownership there is no reason why we couldn't run it, with ambitious, dedicated, and loyal owners.
I would love CCFC and the Ricoh to be combined, as without I see a bleak future for the club whoever owns us.

I have season tickets for both CCFC and Wasps so I can justify talking for both camps.
I'm not deflecting criticism but I am pointing out that Wasps success is linked to ours and vice versa.

We don't know exactly the amount of free tickets. All I can say is I've never met anyone who pays to attend and I could have a free ticket most weeks if I wished. the fact that you see 26k for a top flight game as an achievement shows exactly why wasps won't be here in 20 years

Yes because without knowing who our new owners would ever be, how would we ever know how much they are worth.
Try looking longer term than Hoffman and Co, if they ever get their hands on the club, as their intention will eventually be to move the club on to its next stage.

MK Dons don't own the stadium we play in, that's the reason they get mentioned less than Wasps.

The franchising issue is a problem, because the same people who abandoned CCFC after the Northampton moved, have now jumped into bed with a sports club who have done pretty much the exact same thing. It becomes more personal about Wasps because they are deliberately trying to hijack our fan base. Something that some wet lettuces have done without much persuasion at all, and something others are starting to give in to.

Due to the aid of them, we are also without a permanent home. They are a bunch of scumbags, and anyone who calls themselves a CCFC fan should not be seen dead at the Ricoh when there is a wasps game on.

I refused to criticise the poor football on display this season as it's down to Sisu not investing in a competitive team and they don't care.
The players are playing out there skin but they are not good enough to get us out this league.

Am I defending Wasps because I'm not slagging them off ?
I can't explain why Sisu moving us to Northampton helped CCFC but I can explain why moving Wasps to Coventry helped them.
I can love both CCFC and Wasps being here.

Leicester have top level teams in both sports.
Even CRFC are getting more success since Wasps have been here.
